The Western Australian men’s cricket team,formerly nicknamed the Western Warriors,represent the Australian state of Western Australia in Australian domestic cricket. The team is selected and supported by the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA),and plays its home games at the WACA Ground and Perth Stadium in Perth.
The 2005–06 Australian cricket season took place from October 2005 to March 2006.
Callum James Ferguson is a former Australian cricketer and commentator who has represented Australia in all three forms of international cricket. He also represented South Australia in the JLT One-Day Cup. He was formerly the captain of the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League before being released at the end of the 2020–21 season
Damien Geoffrey Wright is an Australian cricket coach and former first-class cricketer who coached Hobart Hurricanes cricket team. Wright made his debut for Tasmania in 1997,playing with the team until switching to Victoria for the 2008–09 season. In 2002 he played in the Scottish cricket team as their one permitted overseas player—he also had previous spells in county cricket with Northamptonshire,Glamorgan and Somerset. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler. He has a side-on bowling action and an ability to bounce the ball sharply. Wright started Coaching the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League 03 in 2013–14,he coached the team to defeat the Melbourne Stars,who were undefeated in the tournament until then. The Hurricanes then lost the final to the Perth Scorchers. Wright then coached the Hurricanes to the semi-finals in the Champions League T20 2014 in India.
Michael Klinger is an Australian former first-class cricketer,who held the record for the most runs scored in the Big Bash League when he retired in 2019.
Luke Anthony Pomersbach is a former Australian cricketer. He played mainly for Western Australia and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Citing mental health issues,he retired from the game in June 2014.
Shaun Edward Marsh is an Australian cricketer who previously played for the Western Australia cricket team in Australian domestic cricket and has represented Australia in all three formats. Nicknamed SOS,he is a left-handed top-order batsman.
Thomas Michael Beaton is an Australian cricketer who has played for Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers domestically. A right-handed batsman,he also played with the Melbourne Renegades for the 2014–15 and 2015–16 seasons of the Big Bash League.
Michael Garry Hogan is an Australian former professional cricketer who played for Glamorgan and Kent County Cricket Clubs in English domestic cricket,and for Western Australia and the Hobart Hurricanes in Australia.
Nathan Mitchell Coulter-Nile is an Australian cricketer who has played at One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International level for the Australian national side. Domestically,he is contracted to Western Australia and the Melbourne Stars. From Perth,Western Australia,Coulter-Nile attended Aquinas College,and represented the state under-17 and under-19 teams,later going on to play three youth ODI matches for the Australian national under-19 team. Having held a rookie contract from the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) for several seasons,he made his debut at state level during the 2009–10 season,and has since become a regular selection in Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers' fast bowling attacks. Coulter-Nile made his Twenty20 International debut for the Australian national cricket team in February 2013,and his ODI debut in September 2013.

Joe Matthew Mennie is an Australian professional cricketer. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler for South Australia,the representative team of the South Australian Cricket Association,and in the 2017–18 Big Bash League season he will begin playing for the Melbourne Renegades,his fourth BBL team.
Hilton William Raymond Cartwright is a Zimbabwean born Australian international cricketer who plays for Western Australia and the Melbourne Stars. He is a right-handed all-rounder. Cartwright made his Test debut for the Australian national team in January 2017,having earlier played for Australia A and the National Performance Squad. In January 2017 he won the Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year prize awarded by Cricket Australia.

Matthew John Petrie is a former Australian cricketer who played several matches for Western Australia during the 2005–06 season. From Brisbane,Petrie spent his early career in Queensland,representing the state at under-19 and colts level,as well as later attending the Queensland Academy of Sport. A right-arm fast bowler,he moved to Western Australia prior to the 2004–05 season,and during the season represented a state representative side against the touring Pakistanis,although the match was not accorded first-class status. Also playing for Willetton in the WACA district competition,Petrie led the competition's bowling averages,which led to occasional selection in the state second XI team playing in the Cricket Australia Cup.
Paul John Davis is an Australian cricketer who previously played several matches for Western Australia in domestic competitions. From Perth,Davis represented Western Australia at both under-17 and under-19 level,as well as playing grade cricket for Mount Lawley. Having previously played several matches for the state second XI,he made his limited-overs debut for Western Australia late in the 2007–08 season of the Ford Ranger Cup,against Victoria at the WACA Ground. In his second match,Davis took 3/49 to help dismiss Queensland for 111,bowling alongside Steve Magoffin and Ben Edmondson. Due to this form,he gained a full contract with the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) for the following season.
Alexander Ian Ross is an Australian cricketer. The son of a cricket coach,Ross started playing domestic cricket for South Australia in 2012,having moved to the state in 2009 with his father. He began to rise to prominence in the 2014–15 season when,after improved form in both first-class and List A cricket,he began playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League. In his first match of BBL|05 he scored 65 runs off 31 balls,making excellent use of the sweep shot and earning the moniker "sweepologist". He currently represents South Australia in first-class and one-day cricket and plays for the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League.
Daniel James Worrall is an Australian–English cricketer who plays for Surrey. He played for South Australia in the Sheffield Shield competition and for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League. He was selected to play for Australia in 2016. He holds British citizenship and now lives in England. He will be classed as an international player in Australian competitions.
Jake Scott Lehmann is an Australian cricketer who plays for South Australia. He is the eldest son of former Australian coach Darren Lehmann. Well known for his moustache,Lehmann began his first-class career in the 2014–15 season and enjoyed early success,scoring a double century in his second season. He began playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League in 2015 and hit a match-winning six against the Hobart Hurricanes in the first ball of his career and the last ball of the innings.
