Ben Griffiths (born 17 September 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Griffiths was drafted by Richmond with the club's second selection and the 19th selection overall in the 2009 national draft.
He made his debut in Richmond's first win of the following year, against Port Adelaide in round 10 of the 2010 season. [1]
Griffiths career was limited because of the number of times he was concussed during a game. [2]
Despite being contracted to Richmond until the end of the 2018 season, [3] Griffiths retired from the AFL in January 2018 after receiving a scholarship with the University of Southern California to pursue a college football career as a punter and transitioning to playing American football. [4]
Griffiths was selected in the first round (9th overall) of the 2022 CFL Global Draft by the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League. [5]

The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers or colloquially the Tig(e)s, is a professional Australian rules football team competing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Founded in 1885 in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) from 1885 to 1907, winning two premierships. Richmond then joined the Victorian Football League from the 1908 season and has since won 13 premierships, most recently in 2020.
Shane Tuck was an Australian rules footballer who played 173 matches for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) after also spending two years on the AFL list at Hawthorn without making an AFL appearance. Tuck was a life member at Richmond and placed in the top 10 of the club's "best and fairest" award in seven of his ten seasons at Richmond. His father is seven-time Hawthorn premiership player Michael Tuck.

After a junior career with the Geelong Falcons in the NAB League Girls competition, Lesosky-Hay was overlooked at the 2019 draft. She was later selected to join Richmond as a train-on injury replacement player during the 2020 AFL Women's season but did not earn a league debut that season. Later that year, Lesosky-Hay was drafted by Richmond with their third selection and fifty-third overall in the 2020 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut against Brisbane at Punt Road Oval in the opening round of the 2021 season. She was delisted by Richmond in April 2021. Luka Lesosky-Hay is now pursuing a career as an artist.
