Ben Pronsky is an American voice and television actor.
Pronsky studied regularly at the Larry Moss Studio and was founder and director of the Edgemar Film Festival in Santa Monica, California. He currently resides in Los Angeles. He has also done voice-work for ADV Films, Bang Zoom! Entertainment and NYAV Post. He is best known as the voice of Takashi Kamiyama from Cromartie High School , [1] Harklight from Aldnoah.Zero , [2] Kurotabo from the Nura series, [3] [4] Mu Alexius from the Magi series, [5] and Takehito Kumagami from Charlotte . Cromartie High School is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiji Nonaka. It was serialized in Kodansha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from August 2000 to May 2006, with its chapters collected in 18 tankōbon volumes. It follows the everyday life of Takashi Kamiyama and his odd classmates at Cromartie High School, an infamous school for delinquents. The series is a parody of Japanese yankii manga of the 1970s and 1980s. The style of art resembles Ryoichi Ikegami's works such as Otoko-gumi and Otoko Ōzora.

The protagonist is a character from the 2010 video game Nier, a spin-off of the Drakengard series developed by Cavia and published by Square Enix. He is the lead and main playable character in Nier, and prominent in related media and merchandise. During Nier, the protagonist goes on a quest to help Yonah, a young girl who falls ill with the terminal Black Scrawl illness, then to rescue her from a being called the Shadowlord in a post-apocalyptic world beset by creatures called Shades. Due to publisher feedback, two versions of the protagonists exist; a brother looking after his sister originally exclusive to Japan, and a father caring for his daughter designed for the West.
