Ben Joseph James Wells (born 30 July 2000) is an English former professional cricketer. [1] [2] He made his List A debut on 25 July 2021,for Gloucestershire in the 2021 Royal London One-Day Cup. [3]
Originally from Bath,Wells attended Monkton Combe School. He graduated with a BSc in Physics from the University of Exeter where he was also captain of the First XI. He was part of the Somerset academy and played for their second XI before signing a contract with Gloucestershire in June 2021. [4] He made his first-class debut on 12 September 2021,for Gloucestershire in the 2021 County Championship. [5] He made his Twenty20 debut on 29 May 2022,for Gloucestershire against the Sri Lanka Cricket Development XI during their tour of England. [6] On 1 May 2024,he announced his retirement from professional cricket at the age of 23. [7] [8]
Jonathan Lewis is a former England cricketer and current head coach of England Women's Cricket and UP Warriorz in Women's Premier League. He was brought up in Swindon where he was educated at Churchfields School and Swindon College. He played for Swindon CC and,in Minor Counties cricket,for Wiltshire County Cricket Club in 1993. He joined Northamptonshire in 1994 and played for its Second XI but returned to Wiltshire in 1995. In the same year,he joined Gloucestershire and made his first-class debut. Inglis was born in Leeds,England,and moved to Australia with his family when he was 14. Inglis was a member of the Australian team that won the 2021 T20 World Cup,but did not play in the tournament. He made his international debut for the Australia cricket team in February 2022. In 2023,Inglis was a member of the squad that won the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.
