Benazir Salam is an Indian classical dancer from Bangladesh.
Benazir is the daughter of Md. Abdus Salam and Kohinoor Salam. She began her dance career at the dance school of Abdul Hasib Panna called Nikkon Shilpi Goshthi in 1983 in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. She was considered the national child of the years 1986, 1988 and 1989 through a competition organized by the Shishu Academy of Bangladesh. In those competitions she performed Kathak, Bharatanatyam, modern dance and folk dance. She was awarded gold medals in Manipuri dance, Modern Dance and Katthak Dance in Dhaka Junior Art and Music Festival 1988, sponsored by British Council and ANZ Grindlays Bank. She won the first Prize in Classical Dance (Katthak) in the National Education Week, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1990. She also won UNESCO Clubs Cultural Award, Bangladesh in the same year.
She received a scholarship from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations [1] (ICCR) for her undergraduate (honors) degree in Odissi from Rabindra Bharati University between 1996 and 1999. She secured the first position among her class and received the university gold medal. Benazir subsequently completed her master's degree in Odissi dance from the university securing the first position and the gold medal. During her stay at the university, she was a disciple of renowned dancer Muralidhar Majhi and Poushali Mukherjee.
Currently she teaches Odissi dance at her own school in Bangladesh, Nupur. [2] She also is a dance teacher at Bangladesh Shishu Academy in Dhaka. [3]
Sharon Lowen is an American Odissi dancer, trained since 1975 by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. She has performed and choreographed for film and television and presented hundreds of concerts throughout India, North America, Asia, Africa, the United Kingdom. and the Middle East. Sharon came to India in 1973 after earning degrees in Humanities, Fine Arts, Asian Studies and Dance from the University of Michigan as a Fulbright Scholar to study Manipuri and later Chhau and Odissi.

Arunima Kumar, Sangeet Natak Akademi Yuva Puraskar awardee for the year of 2008 for Kuchipudi. As a young girl of 9, Arunima acted in the ballet Amrapali. The Kuchipudi Dance Academy formally launched her in 1995 where she performed her Arangetram at the Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi.

Malini Awasthi is an Indian folk singer. She sings in Bhojpuri, Awadhi and Hindi, She also presents Thumri and Kajri. The Government of India awarded her the civilian honour of the Padma Shri in 2016. She is known for her contribution in Bhojpuri music.
Sunanda Patnaik was an Indian classical singer of Gwalior gharana from Odisha. Popularly known as "guruma", she was considered one of the grande dames of Hindustani music. She was the daughter of Odia poet Baikunthanath Patnaik. She started singing at All India Radio in Cuttack in 1948 at the age of 14. The then Odisha Governor Asaf Ali once heard her on Radio and was very impressed with her singing and she became a regular fixture at the Raj Bhavan whenever the Governor had guests. Once, President Rajendra Prasad heard her at Puri. He was very impressed with her singing and arranged her training under Pandit Vinayak Rao Pattavardhan at Pune with a scholarship. She was awarded the degree of Masters in Music by Pune School in 1956. She performed at All India Sadrang Sageet Sammelan in Calcutta in September 1957 where she received 13 gold coins. Since then she did many concerts in India and was known internationally. She was best known for her tarana that she sang at a high pace and was considered one of the best contemporary interpreters of Odissi music. She was staying at Kolkata since 1983.

Elam Endira Devi, is an Indian classical dancer and teacher, known for her expertise and scholarship in the classical dance form of Manipuri, especially in the genres of Lai Haraoba and Raas. The Government of India honored her, in 2014, with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, for her services to the field of art and culture.

Priyambada Mohanty Hejmadi is an Indian classical dancer, scientist, academician, art writer, and biologist. Born on 18 November 1939, she mastered the Indian classical dance form of Odissi from an early age under Ban Bihari Maiti. Her Odissi performance at the Inter-University Youth Festival in New Delhi in 1954 is reported to have helped the dance form to gain international attention through Charles Fabri, the renowned art critic from Hungary, who was present at the function.

She has received the Maharashtra State Cultural Award 2019–20. For the first time created a collaboration called Flamencodissi, production of Odissi and Flameco in 2019. She presented Geet Govind verses in 1995
