Benjamin is an Indian actor and comedian who has appeared in Tamil language films in supporting roles.
Benjamin made his acting debut through Cheran's Vetri Kodi Kattu (2000), where he played the foul-mouthed brother of Vadivelu's character. [2] [3]
Benjamin had a career breakthrough with Cheran's Autograph (2004) where he played the childhood friend of the lead character who assists him in his search for his former lovers. The success of the film led to his first lead comedy role in Thirupaachi (2005), as the friend of Vijay's character. [4] [5] [6] [7]
In 2020, Benjamin suffered a heart attack and made a public appeal for financial donations from his film industry colleagues. [8] [9] [10]

Santhanam Neelamegam is an Indian actor and film producer who mainly works in Tamil cinema. Beginning his career as a comedian on television, he rose to fame through his performances in Star Vijay's Lollu Sabha enacting the lead role in spoofs of Tamil films. Mumaith Khan, Zabyn Khan, and Khushbu appear as item numbers. It is partly based on the Hindi-language 1998 film Soldier, directed by Abbas–Mustan. The film follows Pugazh, an undercover police officer, who avenges the death of his father who was an honest army officer falsely accused and killed by corrupt army officers.

Thillalangadi (transl. Defiler) is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Mohan Raja. A remake of the 2009 Telugu film Kick, it stars Raja's brother Jayam Ravi along with Tamannaah Bhatia, and Shaam, who reprises his role from Kick, and a supporting cast including Prabhu, Suhasini Maniratnam, Vadivelu, Santhanam, and Sanchita Shetty. The film features a soundtrack composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, whilst Thaman S's original score has been reused. The film, produced by Raja's father Editor Mohan and distributed by Sun Pictures, was released on 23 July 2010.
