[8] [9] He was subsequently called up to the Ghana national team. [10] In April 2025, he signed a contract extension with the club until 2027. Asare earned his first call-up to the Ghana national football team in March 2025 for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
