She started her acting career in Kannada films and has worked in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Bengali and Bhojpuri films. She has a reputation of being very selective in her roles. Chaya is well known of her lead role in Thiruda Thirudi (2003).
Buddhivantha is a 2008 Indian Kannada-language film directed by Ramnath Rigvedhi. starring Upendra in the lead role, while Pooja Gandhi, Brinda Parekh, Saloni Aswani, Natanya Singh, and Suman Ranganathan play the female leads. The film is a remake of the 2007 Tamil film Naan Avanillai, which was itself was a remake of 1974 Tamil movie Naan Avanillai which in turn was based on the 1962 Marathi play To Mee Navhech written by Pralhad K. Atre. The music was composed by Vijay Antony.
Sanjjanaa Galrani is an Indian actress who made her film debut in the 2005 Telugu film Soggadu. She is known for her role in the Kannada film Ganda Hendathi (2006). She played a supporting role in the 2008 Telugu film Bujjigadu starring Prabhas. In 2017, she played Chandri in the Kannada crime drama Dandupalya 2.
Richard Rishi is an Indian actor who predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu films and few Malayalam and Kannada films. He is known for Koottu, A Film by Aravind and his subsequent movies with director Mohan G, namely Draupathi and Rudra Thandavam.
Payanam (transl. Journey) is a 2011 Indian action thriller film that was written and directed by Radha Mohan. It was simultaneously filmed in Tamil and Telugu languages, the latter being titled Gaganam (transl. Sky). The film's plot is based on a flight hijacking incident. Payanam's cast includes Nagarjuna, Prakash Raj, Poonam Kaur, Sana Khan, Rishi, Brahmanandam and Thalaivasal Vijay. The film was co-produced by Raj and Dil Raju, and was released on 11 February 2011 to critical and commercial success.
Shruthi Chandrasena, known professionally as Hariprriya, is an Indian actress and model who predominantly works in Kannada films. Hariprriya gained wide acclaim for her role in Ugramm and is also known for her work in Ranna, Ricky, Neerdose, Bharjari, Samhaara, Jai Simha, Bell Bottom, Soojidara and D/O Parvathamma.
Kandireega (transl. Wasp) is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy action film directed by Santosh Srinivas and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions. The film stars Ram Pothineni, Hansika Motwani, Sonu Sood and Aksha Pardasany with the music scored by S. Thaman. Released on 12 August 2011, the film was a commercial success, collecting a share of ₹22 crore at the box office. It was remade in Bengali as Paglu 2 and in Hindi as Main Tera Hero (2014). Four years later it was dubbed in Hindi as Dangerous Khiladi 4.
Omkara is a 2004 Indian Kannada-language crime thriller film starring Upendra and Preeti Jhangiani. The film was written and directed by Shivamani and produced by Company Films under the banner of R. S. Productions and has music by Gurukiran. Omkara was Upendra's first gangster film and was based on the connection between film industries and the Mumbai underworld mafia. The film got an all-time record opening in its first week however became an above average grosser.
Anna Thangi is a 2005 Indian Kannada-language drama film starring Shiva Rajkumar and Radhika. It depicts the story of an elder brother's love and affection for younger sister. The film is directed and written by Om Sai Prakash and produced under Vijay films banner. The film, upon release, met with positive reviews and was remade into Telugu language with the title Gorintaku.
Majestic is a 2002 Indian Kannada-language action crime thriller film written and directed by P. N. Satya in his directoral debut. The film stars Darshan in the lead role, along with Rekha and Jai Jagadish in other prominent roles. It was produced by Ullas Enterprises studio. Sadhu Kokila scored the music.
Alaiyadikkuthu is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language thriller film written and directed by Kalimuthu Arjunaraja and starring Sindhu Tolani, Naveen Dhanush and Akhil Kumar. It was released on 10 August 2005.
