Revathy (born 27 September 1988), known by her stage name Kadhal Sandhya, is an Indian former actress who appeared mainly in Tamil film industry and in a few Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films. [1]
She was born in the year 1988. Her father Ajith is an employee of IOB and her mother Maya is a beautician. She has an elder brother, Rahul. [2] She attended Vidyodaya Girls Higher Secondary School, Chennai until completing Class 9. [2]
Sandhya was studying when she starred in the Tamil love story Kaadhal . The role was offered to many known actresses, including Ileana D'Cruz and then Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, but the latter's father was reluctant to let her become an actress at the time. The team next picked Saranya Nag who was in Class IX, when cinematographer Vijay Milton suggested her name to Balaji Sakthivel. [3] [4] She was initially considered to play the heroine in the film, but finally the role was later handed to Sandhya, after the director felt Saranya looked too young. [5]
After the success of the film Kaadhal ,in 2004, she took up a Malayalam film titled Alice in Wonderland which she played as the sister of actor Jayaram. Then came the musical romance Dishyum with Jeeva. In her third Tamil film, Vallavan alongside Silambarasan (who was also the director of the film), she had only a small role, and the film had only modest box office success.[ citation needed ] She also acted in Koodal Nagar with Bharath. After the success of Cycle , she shifted her focus to Malayalam cinema.[ citation needed ] She debuted as a playback singer for the film Manjal Veiyil . [6] In 2010, she appeared in a role opposite Vishnuvardhan in the Kannada film Aptharakshaka directed by P. Vasu.
She is scheduled to appear in Tarun Gopi's forthcoming film Soodhaatam, [7] Second Innings [8] and Long Sight.[ citation needed ] She has been a judge on a number of reality shows including Comedy Stars and Little Stars on Asianet.
Sandhya married Venkat Chandrasekhar, a Chennai-based IT businessman, on 6 December 2015. The ceremony was held at Guruvayur Temple. The couple have a daughter, born on 27 September 2016. [9]

Kaadhal Kondein is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic psychological thriller film written and directed by Selvaraghavan, credited as his directorial debut. The film stars his brother Dhanush and newcomers Sonia Agarwal and Sudeep Sarangi, while Nagesh and Daniel Balaji play supporting roles. Kadhal 2 Kalyanam is an unreleased Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by newcomer Milind Rau that stars debutante Sathya, brother of Tamil actor Arya, and Ramya, whilst, Jayashree, Nagendra Prasad, Kasthuri and Anuja Iyer play pivotal roles. Noted film critic Baradwaj Rangan had written the dialogues, while Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film's score and soundtrack. The cinematography and editing were handled by P. S. Vinod and Leo John Paul, respectively. Pre-production works began by mid-2008, while the filming continued for over one year, being completed by July 2010. The film was jointly produced by Mirchi Movies and East Coast Entertainment, who are now not in the film-making business. Hence the movie remains unreleased.

Yuvan – Live in Concert is a concert by Indian musician Yuvan Shankar Raja. The concert, Yuvan's second in his career, took place on Pongal, 16 January 2011 at the YMCA Grounds, Nandanam, Chennai. Following the announcement, popular Tamil television STAR Vijay agreed to collaborate, sponsoring, organising and marketing the concert, while airing a special television series about Yuvan Shankar Raja, with family members and prominent celebrities closely associated to him participating, besides producing a promotional music video, titled "I'll be there for you". The five-hour show, which was attended by 20,000 people, including several noted film personalities, was received very positively and considered a highly successful event. The concert was aired on 11 and 12 February, Friday and Saturday at 2000 hrs on Vijay TV.
K. T. Kunjumon is a former Indian film producer and writer, politician active in Tamil and Malayalam films. He began his career co-producing several Malayalam films, often working with director P. G. Viswambharan. His first Kollywood project, Pavithran's Suriyan as Sarathkumar's first solo lead role was a success. Kunjumon's second venture, S. Pre-production of film began in 2008, with the filming commencing in 2010 only, following several delays. The cinematography was handled by Vijay Milton, while guitarist R. Prasanna scored the music.
