Bernard Desmarais (born June 17, 1971) is a Mauritian swimmer. He represented his country at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics. In 1992, he competed in the 100 metre and 200 metre breaststroke competitions, but finished 45th in each event with times of 1:07.75 and 2:31.52 respectively. In 1996, he competed only in the 100 metre breaststroke event and finished 43rd out of 45 competitors with a time of 1:09.05. [1]
Leisel Marie Jones, OAM is an Australian former competition swimmer and Olympic gold medallist. A participant in the 2000 Summer Olympics – at just 15 years old – and 2004 Summer Olympics, she was part of gold-medal-winning Australian team in the women's 4×100-metre medley relay at the Athens Games in 2004 and a gold medallist for 100-metre breaststroke in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Born in Walsall, he represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA World championships and European championships, as well as representing England in the Commonwealth Games. Medalling in two Olympic Games in 1988 and 1992, he was a World, European and Commonwealth champion in his specialist event, the 200 metres breaststroke. His career broadly overlapped with fellow British breaststroker and Olympic 100 metre breaststroke champion, Adrian Moorhouse.

Four years later at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, Flood came in tenth place in the women's 100-metre breaststroke.

Seth Van Neerden is a former national record-holding swimmer and national team member from the United States. He competed at the 1995 Pan American Games, where he won three gold medals: as part of the American team's winning 4×100-meter medley relay, and for winning the 100- and 200-meter breaststroke events. He received a bronze medal at the 1993 FINA Short Course World Championships.
John Clifford Moffet is an American former swimmer who competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, having also been selected for the 1980 Summer Olympics that were ultimately boycotted by the United States. At the 1984 Olympics, he finished fifth in the final of the men's 100-meter breaststroke event. In 1985 he won three gold medals at both the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships and the Summer Universiade. As a television producer he is a three-time Primetime Emmy Award winner for The Amazing Race.

Susannah Claire "Suki" Brownsdon is an English former competitive swimmer who won a silver medal in the women's 100-metre breaststroke at the 1981 European Championships, and represented Great Britain at four consecutive Olympic Games, with her best results being sixth place in the 100-metre breaststroke final in 1980 and seventh place in the 200-metre breaststroke final in 1984. She also represented England at three Commonwealth Games, winning a total of five medals.

He is also an eight-time World Champion, a sixteen-time European Champion and a four-time Commonwealth Champion. According to FINA itself, Peaty is widely regarded as the dominant breaststroke swimmer of his era, and the most dominant sprint breaststroke swimmer of all time.
