Bernard Renault is a French former slalom canoeist who competed from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s.

He won two medals in the K-1 team event at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold in 1977 and a bronze in 1981.

The Opel Slalom was a mid-size luxury concept car that was manufactured by the car manufacturer Opel in collaboration with the design company Bertone. The car was first presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1996. The Slalom had one such 2.0-litre turbocharged 16-valve I4 engine which produced 204 hp (152 kW) and used the layout of F4.

The International Ski Federation (FIS) Alpine World Cup tour is the premier circuit for alpine skiing competition. The inaugural season launched in January 1967, and the 2016 season marked the 50th consecutive year for the FIS. This World Cup season began on 24 October 2015, in Sölden, Austria, and concluded in Saint Moritz, Switzerland on 20 March 2016. The World Ski Championship, a biennial event, did not interrupt this competitive season, and the upcoming World Championships were held Saint Moritz, Switzerland in February 2017
