Bert Auburn is an American football kicker for the Texas Longhorns.
Auburn attended high school at Flower Mound located in Flower Mound, Texas. Coming out of high school, Auburn decided to play college football for the Texas Longhorns, joining the team as a preferred walk on. [1] [2]
In Auburn's first collegiate season, he attempted just three extra points, where he converted on all three of them. [3] In week two of the 2022 season, Auburn made four field goals including a 49 yarder which gave Texas the lead with a minute and a half left in the fourth quarter in a loss against Alabama. [4] In the 2022 season, Auburn took over as the Longhorns kicker where he made all 55 of his extra point attempts, while also going 21 for 26 on his field goals. [5] During the 2023 season, Auburn would again be perfect on his extra points converting on all 56, and making 29 of his 35 field goal attempts. [6] In week ten of the 2023 season, Auburn hit the game winning field goal in overtime versus Kansas State. [7] In the regular season finale, Auburn set multiple school records in the Longhorns win over Texas Tech for most made field goals in a season, and for the most field goals made consecutively. [8] Heading into the 2024 season, Auburn was placed on scholarship by Texas. [9]
Russell Erxleben is an American former professional football player and currency investor. He shares the record for the longest successful field goal in NCAA history at 67 yards, which he set in 1977 while playing for the University of Texas. Erxleben was a three-time All-American punter. He was selected in the first round of the NFL draft, an extremely rare occurrence for a kicker. After an NFL career lasting six years, he became a currency investor. Convicted of securities fraud in 1999, he was released from federal prison in 2005. He was again convicted of investment fraud in 2014 and sentenced to 90 months in federal prison.

Justin Paul Tucker is an American professional football placekicker for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Texas Longhorns and signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2012. Often regarded as the greatest placekicker of all time, Tucker is the most accurate kicker in NFL history at 89.7 percent and holds the NFL record for longest field goal at 66 yards. He has also been named to seven Pro Bowls and five first-team All-Pros, and was a member of the Ravens team that won Super Bowl XLVII.
Daniel Vilhelm Carlson is an American professional football placekicker for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Auburn, where he became the SEC's all-time leading scorer and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft. Released by Minnesota during his rookie season, Carlson joined the Raiders and has twice led the league in scoring. He is currently the fifth most accurate kicker in the NFL.
