bertemu is the 8th studio album by Megumi Hayashibara. Many of the songs on the album are from the Anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion and Slayers. The lyrics for several of the songs were written by Hayashibara under the pen name MEGUMI. The album was released in two editions, a regular edition and a limited edition with cardboard sleeve and hardcover photobook. The album reached Number 3 on the Oricon music charts. [1] It has also been reissued on at least one occasion. [2]

Megumi Hayashibara is a Japanese voice actress, singer, lyricist and radio personality from Kita ward in Tokyo and is affiliated with Woodpark Office. One of the most prominent Japanese voice actresses of the 1990s, Hayashibara is best known for her roles in Love Hina, Saber Marionette J, Ranma ½, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Slayers, Detective Conan, Pokémon, All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku, Video Girl Ai and Shaman King.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a Japanese mecha anime television series produced by Gainax and Tatsunoko Production, directed by Hideaki Anno and broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 1995 to March 1996. The cast included Megumi Ogata as Shinji Ikari, Megumi Hayashibara as Rei Ayanami, and Yūko Miyamura as Asuka Langley Soryu. The music was composed by Shirō Sagisu.

Megumi Toda is a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo. She is affiliated with Kenyu Office. She was regular on the Animate Pia Channel which was broadcast on Nico Nico. Her major roles include Hajime Shinoda in New Game!, Kiitan in Etotama and Yuzu Iizuka in Sakura Trick. As part of the Etotama cast, she sang on the theme song under the group Soruaru BOB on a single called "blue moment" that reached number 49 on the Oricon charts. She also sang the theme songs for New Game! under the group forfolium; the singles "Sakura" and "Now Loading!!" reached numbers 33 and 42 on Oricon. As part of the Idolmaster cast, she sang on one of the singles which reached number 22.
