Better Noise Music is the rebranded and re-organized [2] record label founded in 2006 by Allen Kovac, CEO of 10th Street Entertainment. The label was previously known as Eleven Seven Label Group with Eleven Seven, Five Seven and Better Noise Records as imprints. They are an artist development label, developing new bands in the rock music genre. [3] The label recently announced an expanded alliance with FUGA [4] and was named 2019 Active Rock Label of the Year for the second consecutive year. [5] In early 2020, Kovac launched sister company, Better Noise Films. [6]

Eleven Seven Label Group was founded in 2006 by Allen Kovac, CEO of 10th Street Entertainment, as the American parent company of a group of rock and alternative rock record labels. It is seen as a successor to Kovac's earlier label, Beyond Music, which existed between 1998 and 2002. [7]

Eleven Seven Label Group was named Billboard magazine's Rock Label of the Year in 2010. [8]

In 2009, Eleven Seven Label Group created an alternative/indie sub-label called Five Seven Music for alternative rock bands [9] such as Just Loud, Bleeker, Romes and Dirty Heads. The latter had three Top five Billboard alternative chart albums. [3] Better Noise Records, another home for hard rock acts, was founded in 2015 as part of Eleven Seven. [10]

Eleven Seven expanded its base from New York City and Los Angeles, with the opening of international offices [3] in London, England in 2012, and Berlin, Germany in 2019. [11] The company entered into a global partnership with Marshall Records in 2018 in order to bring Marshall artists to North and South America via Eleven Seven's distribution system. [12]

In October 2019, Eleven Seven Label Group rebranded all the labels under the umbrella (Eleven Seven, Five Seven and Better Noise) to the new name of Better Noise Music, and all releases since have been released under the label Better Noise Music. [13] Two months later, it signed a global marketing and distribution deal with FUGA, the Netherlands-based subsidiary of AVL Digital Group (itself a subsidiary of Downtown). [14]

In May 2023, Allen Kovac became Chairman of Better Noise, moving up President Dan Waite to the CEO position, and Steve Kline from COO to President/COO. [15]

Generation Swine is the seventh studio album by the American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, released on June 24, 1997. The album marks the return of lead singer Vince Neil following his last appearance on 1991's Decade of Decadence and the last to feature drummer Tommy Lee until the 2008 album Saints of Los Angeles. It is also the band's last album to be released on Elektra Records. The album's name as well as the title track is derived from Generation of Swine by Hunter S. Thompson.

New West Records is a record label based in Nashville, Tennessee, and Athens, Georgia. It had offices in Burbank, California, and Beverly Hills, California. The label was established in 1998 by Cameron Strang "for artists who perform real music for real people" and has been home to indie rock, alternative country, and Americana bands. The label's records in the US were previously distributed by Alternative Distribution Alliance beginning in 2013 through to 2018 when Redeye Distribution assumed distribution in 2018. The PIAS Group handles the distribution in Europe.

Mötley Records is a record label founded by the American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe after severing their ties with Elektra Records and acquiring the rights to their music catalog. It serves as a successor to the band's original record label Leathür Records, which released their 1981 debut album Too Fast for Love, an imprint of Greenworld Distribution, owned by the band and original manager Allan Coffman. The Dirt Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the 2019 biographical film of the same name by Mötley Crüe, inspired by the book The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band by the band and Neil Strauss. It was their tenth compilation album. The soundtrack was released by Mötley Records and Eleven Seven Records on March 22, 2019, on CD, LP, and digital formats. It is the band’s first release in over a decade since their 2009 Greatest Hits album.

Beyond Music was an American record label group based in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in August 1998 by Allen Kovac. The label group operated as an arm of Kovac's Left Bank Management firm, which he jointly ran with Jeffrey Sydney. The label was known for its strategy of "resurrecting" bands and artists that had decreased in popularity with unusual high-profile marketing campaigns, and its roster included Yes, Blondie, Veruca Salt, Mötley Crüe, Vince Neil, and others.
