Between Waves is the fourth studio album by Portuguese pop rock singer David Fonseca. It was released in Portugal on 2 November 2009. [1] Fonseca wrote all the songs and played or arranged most of the instruments. The first single, "A Cry 4 Love", was available online for more than a month before the release of the album. The album hit #1 on the Portuguese iTunes chart the same week it was released, hist third album to do so. [1]

The band never officially disbanded, but went on an undetermined hiatus from 2001 to 2013, when their members decided to reunite for a brief tour after Sofia Lisboa underwent cancer treatment. David Fonseca wrote all the songs and played most of the instruments in the album. The first single from his debut album was the mellow track "Someone That Cannot Love". The second and last single, the danceable anthem "The 80's" was chosen by Vodafone to their summer spot. The album reached gold status, by selling more than 30 000 copies.

D'ZRT was a Portuguese boy band consisting of Paulo Vintém, Angélico Vieira, Vítor Fonseca and Edmundo Vieira. The band was created when Portuguese television channel TVI cast a band for their series Morangos com Açucar. The four members portrayed Topê, David, Zé Milho and Ruca. Ruca already had musical experience as a contestant on Operação Triunfo. Paulo Vintém was also on the same show, but was eliminated early on.

The third single, "Kiss Me, Oh Kiss Me" received a considerable airplay on Portuguese radio stations.
