Gato Fedorento is a Portuguese surreal comedy group, known for their subjective and absurd satire centering both on the Portuguese language and the Portuguese social reality. The group is composed of the four comedians José Diogo Quintela, Miguel Góis, Ricardo Araújo Pereira and Tiago Dores. They started their comedy careers as screenwriters, writing for other comedians, which later developed into their own television shows, radio programs, a talk show and several advertising campaigns. They have been credited with introducing and popularizing the surreal humour genre in Portugal and are one of the most important influences in the modern Portuguese comedy. Their humour is heavily influenced by Monty Python.

David Fonseca is a Portuguese musician, singer-songwriter and photographer. As a musician, he plays several instruments, including acoustic guitar and organ. He is recognized for his successful music career as a member of Silence 4 and, since 2003, as a solo artist. He is also responsible for the graphic design on his album covers and the art direction on his videoclips. Between 2004 and 2006, he was also part of the Humanos tribute project.
Silence 4 were a Portuguese band, formed in 1996, who mostly sung in English. They released two albums to high critical acclaim, Silence Becomes It (1998) and Only Pain Is Real (2000). The band never officially disbanded, but went on an undetermined hiatus from 2001 to 2013, when their members decided to reunite for a brief tour after Sofia Lisboa underwent cancer treatment. Lead singer David Fonseca is currently undertaking a solo career.
Sing Me Something New is the first solo album by Portuguese pop rock singer David Fonseca. It was released in Portugal in 2003. David Fonseca wrote all the songs and played most of the instruments in the album. The first single from his debut album was the mellow track "Someone That Cannot Love". The second and last single, the danceable anthem "The 80's" was chosen by Vodafone to their summer spot. The album reached gold status, by selling more than 30 000 copies.
D'ZRT was a Portuguese boy band consisting of Paulo Vintém, Angélico Vieira, Vítor Fonseca and Edmundo Vieira. The band was created when Portuguese television channel TVI cast a band for their series Morangos com Açucar. The four members portrayed Topê, David, Zé Milho and Ruca. Ruca already had musical experience as a contestant on Operação Triunfo. Paulo Vintém was also on the same show, but was eliminated early on.
Dreams in Colour is the third album released by Portuguese pop–rock singer David Fonseca. It was released in Portugal on October 8, 2007, to critical and commercial acclaim. Previously, the single "Superstars" had been released. The second single was "Rocket Man " a cover version of Elton John and Bernie Taupin classic "Rocket Man". The video went out on November 17. The third single, a slow-tempo one, "Kiss Me, Oh Kiss Me" received a considerable airplay on Portuguese radio stations.
Only Pain is Real is the second and final studio album by the Portuguese band Silence 4. It was released in July 2000, after the huge success of its predecessor, Silence Becomes It. Recorded in London, the album presented new sounds and fuller orchestrations, with 14 songs all written in English. Even not equaling their first album, it went to become another massive success for the band, achieving two platinum albums and selling 100 000 units.
