Beverly Lang is a South African former cricketer who played as an all-rounder. She appeared in three Test matches for South Africa in 1960 and 1961,all against England. She played domestic cricket for Western Province. [1] [2]
An all-rounder,Lang made her first appearance against the touring England team in a tour match for Western Province. [3] Opening the bowling,she remained wicket-less in the first-innings,with Maureen Payne taking all nine English wickets (Ann Jago retired hurt). [4] She scored 30 with the bat playing at number four,and claimed the wicket of Mollie Hunt in the second-innings. [4] In a match that England won by 120 runs,she could only manage one run as South Africa chased 153 in their second-innings. [4] After missing the first Test at St George's Park,Lang was selected to play for South Africa XI Women the following week. [3] Opening the batting alongside Eleanor Lambert,she made 56 runs in two hours and followed it up by taking two wickets as England matched the South African XI total of 190. [5] With limited overs remaining in the two-day match,Lang scored 16 runs in a declared total of 91 for 7 in South Africa's second-innings;a total the English chased down in just 13.3 overs. [5]

Jacques Henry Kallis is a South African cricket coach and former cricketer. Graeme Craig Smith is a South African cricket commentator and former cricketer,who played for South Africa in all formats. In 2003,he was appointed captain of the national team,taking over from Shaun Pollock. He held the position of test captain until his retirement in 2014. At 22,he was appointed as South Africa's youngest ever captain. He was the most capped captain ever when he played his 102nd test against England.

Samantha Claire Taylor is a former cricketer who represented England more than 150 times between 1998 and 2011. A top order batter,Taylor was the first woman to be named a Wisden Cricketer of the Year. Along with Charlotte Edwards,she was the mainstay of England's batting during the first decade of the 21st century,and played a key role in the team's two world titles in 2009.
Ashwell Gavin Prince is a former South African cricketer and captain who played all formats of the game for South Africa. At the age of 29,he became the first non-white man to captain the South African cricket team when he stood in for the injured Graeme Smith in two Tests. She captained South Africa in 23 matches in 2007 and 2008,but was replaced as captain in 2009 in order to "concentrate entirely on her own performance." She was reappointed as captain for the 2010 ICC Women's World Twenty20. Between 2007 and 2011 she captain South Africa a total of 36 times.
Magdalena "Daleen" Terblanche is a South African former cricketer who played as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batter. She appeared in four Test matches,61 One Day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals for South Africa between 1997 and 2008. She was the first South African woman to pass 1,000 runs in One Day Internationals,doing so in a match against West Indies in April 2005,during her 46th innings. She played domestic cricket for Gauteng.
Yvonne van Mentz is a former South African cricketer. She scored South Africa's first century in Women's Test cricket,with an unbeaten 105 against England in the fourth Test played during the 1960–61 season. An all-rounder,she played four Test matches for South Africa,taking eight wickets and scoring 186 runs.
Lindsay Anne Reeler is a former New South Wales Breakers and Australia cricketer. A right-handed opening batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler,she played 10 Test matches for Australia between 1984 and 1987,scoring a century against England in her penultimate Test match in August 1987. She has also played 23 One Day Internationals for Australia,scoring 1,034 runs with two centuries and eight half-centuries at an average in the high-fifties. She was the first woman to score 1,000 runs in ODIs for Australia. Her final WODI appearance was in the final of the 1988 Women's Cricket World Cup.
