L'Arc-en-Ciel, stylized as L'Arc〜en〜Ciel and abbreviated as Laruku, is a Japanese rock band formed in Osaka in 1991 by bassist Tetsuya and vocalist Hyde. Following the departure of original members Hiro and Pero, guitarist Ken and drummer Sakura were recruited to replace them in 1992 and 1993, respectively. While they first got their start as a visual kei band, L'Arc-en-Ciel have not had any association with the movement since their major label debut in 1994. Sakura left the band in 1997 and was replaced by Yukihiro in January 1998, completing the current line-up.
Hideto Takarai, known by his stage name Hyde, is a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor. Best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel since 1991, he is also the lead vocalist of Vamps and has a solo career.
OLM, Inc.,, is a Japanese animation and film studio headquartered in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan, founded on October 3, 1990, by former Studio Gallop and OB Planning employees. They are best known for producing the Pokémon anime series.
"The Fourth Avenue Cafe" is the thirtieth single by L'Arc-en-Ciel. Originally expected on March 21, 1997, but due to drug charges against drummer Sakura it was only finally released on August 30, 2006. The single reached number 5 on the Oricon chart. Back in 1997, it was used as the 4th ending theme to the popular Rurouni Kenshin anime series but was removed after a few episodes and replaced with the previous ending song "Heart of Sword" by T.M. Revolution. As a result, the song does not appear on any officially released soundtracks for the series.
"Honey" is the eleventh single by L'Arc-en-Ciel. It was released simultaneously with "Shinshoku ~Lose Control~" and "Kasou" on July 8, 1998. "Honey" was used as the main theme song and ending song for the TBS Television Football highlights programme "Super Soccer".
"Driver's High" is the eighteenth single by L'Arc-en-Ciel, released on August 11, 1999 it reached number 2 on the Oricon chart. The title track was used as the first opening theme for the anime adaptation of Great Teacher Onizuka. Mary's Blood recorded a heavy metal version of the song for their 2020 cover album Re>Animator. An arranged version is also featured in the video game Gekitotsu Toma L'Arc: TomaRunner vs L'Arc-en-Ciel (2000).
"Daybreak's Bell" is the thirty-third single by L'Arc-en-Ciel, released on October 10, 2007. It also has a P'unk-en-Ciel track, "Natsu no Yuutsu [Sea in Blood 2007]", a remake of their fourth single "Natsu no Yuu-utsu [Time to say Good-bye]". It debuted at number 1 in the Oricon singles sales chart.

The series was produced by D-rights and TV Tokyo and animated by OLM, and it premiered on all TXN stations in Japan on April 4, 2016. An English version of the anime premiered in Canada on Teletoon on September 10, 2016 and on Disney XD on October 2. The series also premiered on 9Go! in Australia on December 5, 2016, and on Disney XD in the United States on December 19, 2016. Beyblade Burst Turbo, known in Japan as Beyblade Burst Super-Z or Beyblade Chozetsu, is a 2018 anime series and the third season of Beyblade Burst. The series was produced by D-rights and TV Tokyo and animated by OLM, and it premiered on TXN stations in Japan on April 2, 2018. This was the last Beyblade Burst series with TV Tokyo's involvement, as well as the last one to premiere on TV in Japan. An English dub of the anime premiered on Teletoon in Canada on October 7, 2018 and on Disney XD in the United States on December 15, 2018. The opening theme is "Chouzetsu Muteki Blader! " by Ryosuke Sasaki while the ending is "BEY-POP" by Shun Kusakawa. For the international version the theme music is "Turbo"; an instrumental version is used for the credits.
Ruriko Noguchi is a Japanese voice actress from Fukuoka Prefecture who is affiliated with Arts Vision. She played her first main role in 2020 as Sally in Bofuri. Her other voice acting roles include Nozomi Nakamura in Tamayomi, Reika Kobato in Deep Insanity: The Lost Child, Hiyori Hayama in Extreme Hearts and Ichika Hoshino in Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!.
The first season of the Edens Zero anime television series was announced on Twitter by Hiro Mashima on June 12, 2020. It is produced by J.C.Staff and directed by Yūji Suzuki, who passed away on September 9, 2021, before its broadcast ended.
