Bhandirvan is an ancient religious site in Mant Tehsil of Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, India. The site is associated with the legends of Hindu god Krishna and goddess Radha. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Transport

Bhandirvan forest is situated in Mant district which is about 30 kilometres away from Mathura city and 10 kilometres away from Vrindavan city. Private vehicles are available from Vrindavan to visit Bhandirvan. [5]

Main attraction

Bhandirvan is very popular among Radha Krishna devotees. [6] It is known for religious sites Radha Krishna Vivah Sthali where marriage of Radha Krishna was performed by god Brahma and Vanshivat which is associated with the legend of Krishna playing flute to call Radha and Gopis to perform Maharaas. Prem Mandir is a Hindu temple in Vrindavan, Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, India. The temple was established by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. It is maintained by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, an international non-profit, educational, spiritual, charitable trust. The complex is on a 22-hectare (55-acre) site on the outskirts of Vrindavan. His tomb was constructed by the then Governor of Bihar, Ibrahim Khan Kankar. He is the descendant of Makhdoom Yahya Maneri.

Amthua Sharif Dargah is a shrine located in Amthua Sharif about 13 kilometers from Kako block of Jehanabad district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is a tomb of Syed Shah Muhammad Hayat Rahmani Qadri, a student of Syed Shah Hayat Data Kambal Shah. It is recognised under the Bihar Tourism Department and the Sufi Circuit associated with the Government of Bihar. The annual Urs-e-Rahmani is celebrated to commemorate the death anniversary of Hayat Rahmani.
