Bharti Sharma (born 15 October 1961), M.A. (Hindi) from Delhi University, National School of Drama Graduate (1987), is an Indian theater director, actor, and teacher. Her plays cover a variety of topics such as historical, realistic, experimental, plays based on man woman relationship, [1] Indian mythological and philosophical themes. [2] [3] [4]
Sharma after graduating from the National School of Drama in 1987 founded the Kshitij Theater Group with Bipin Kumar and few other NSD graduates. [5] [6] She has acted in more than 50 plays and directed more than 35 plays. [7] She has participated in many National and International Theater Festival like 8th Theater Olympics, Bharat Rang Mahotasav, Mohan Rakesh Samman Samaroh, Bhartendu Natya Utsav, Kathmandu International Theater Festival 2008, National Women Directors Theater Festival, Bhopal and Chandigarh, Sangeet Natak Theater Festival, Chandigarh, Odean Theatre Festival etc.

She is Sangeet Natak Academi Awardee (2019). The screen play of the film Kaala Heera written by her was Zee TV's entry for best screen play in Asian T.V. and Film Awards in 2001. She has also been awarded with senior fellowship by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India for her research work entitled "Changing Styles and Methods of Theater Acting". She has been awarded the Best Actress Award by Natsamarat in 2013. Bansi Kaul was an Indian theatre director and the founder of Rang Vidushak, a theatre group in Bhopal. He was a recipient of the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honor, in 2014, and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1995. Some of his notable plays included Aala Afsar, Kahan Kabir, and Sidhi Dar Sidhi urf Tukke pe Tukka. He was a designer and associate show director for the 2010 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony and also the art director for the 1986 and 1987 Khajuraho Festival.

Syed Sahil Agha is an Indian storyteller, actor, writer and car collector, who is specialised in the verbal art of Dastangoi, a 13th-century art of oral storytelling in Urdu language. The Bhagavadajjukam is a Sanskrit farce composed in the 7th century CE, usually attributed to Bodhayana. However, inscriptional and scholarly evidence indicate that the play was written by the Pallava king Mahendravarman I, who also wrote a prominent farce known as the Mattavilasa Prahasana. It is one of the two earliest surviving examples of a satirical play in Sanskrit literature. Featuring witty exchanges, an episode about the transmigration of souls and a discussion on Hindu dharma, the comical play was intended to mock the doctrines of Buddhism, whose rise at the time presented a challenge to the dominance of Hinduism in India.
