The Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir (meaning Indian Dance Arts Temple) is an arts and crafts museum and a multi-purpose cultural centre located in Patna, in the capital of Bihar, India.
The foundation stone for the institution of art was laid on 8 December 1950. [1] Established by Padmashri Hari Uppal, a master in Manipuri and Kathakali dance forms, it was officially opened in 1963. [2]
The building contains dance and drama studios, [3] a gallery space, and an art museum. [4] The programme of performances ranges from theatre, [5] to live music, comedy, dance, visual art, spoken word and children's events.
The art museum showcases a wide range of elements of antiquity. The items on display include terracotta, jewelry, metal objects, stone sculptures, stone tools, pottery, musical instruments, wooden palki, textiles and masks dated between 500 B.C. and A.D. 500. [6] The dance instructors teach Odissi, Bharatnatyam, Kathak, folk dance, etc.
Pandit Birju Maharaj was an Indian dancer, composer, singer, and exponent of the Lucknow "Kalka-Bindadin" Gharana of Kathak dance in India. He was a descendant of the Maharaj family of Kathak dancers, which includes his two uncles, Shambhu Maharaj and Lachhu Maharaj, and his father and guru, Acchan Maharaj. He also practised Hindustani classical music and was a vocalist. After working along with his uncle, Shambhu Maharaj at Bhartiya Kala Kendra, later the Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, he remained head of the latter, for several years, until his retirement in 1998 when he opened his own dance school, Kalashram, also in Delhi.

Sadanam Krishnankutty is a performer of Kathakali, a classical dance-drama form of Kerala, South India. A recipient of Kerala State Kathakali award and Kalamandalam fellowship, he has donned a wide range of characters in his acts. He received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2007.

It will be owned and operated by the state-run Patna Metro Rail Corporation and is expected to run on two corridors by 2027. It is being constructed under a Public Private Partnership mode and is estimated to cost ₹13,365.77 crore (US$1.7 billion). This cost is excluding land acquisition cost, which is to be borne by the Bihar government. The first phase: the east–west corridor and north–south corridor will consist of a 23.30 km elevated track and 16.30 km underground track.
The Patliputra Stadium at the Patliputra Sports Complex is a multi-purpose stadium in Kankarbagh, Patna, Bihar. The first Women World Cup Kabaddi Championship was held here in its inaugural year, in which 16 countries had participated. It had also hosted the seven league matches of new Pro Kabaddi League with its home team as Patna Pirates from 7 to 10 August in 2014.
Viraat Ramayan Mandir is an upcoming Hindu temple complex in Kesaria, Bihar, India, with an estimated budget of ₹500 crore (US$63 million). When completed, it will be the largest religious monument in the world. The Virat Ramayan Mandir will be almost double the height of the world-famous 12th century Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia, which is 215 feet high. The temple will have a hall with a seating capacity of 20,000 people. The construction of the temple is scheduled to start in June 2015, but has since been delayed following the Cambodia government's protest to the government of India.

Bihar Museum is a museum located in Patna. It was partially opened in August 2015. 'The children's museum', the main entrance area, and an orientation theatre were the only parts opened to the public in August 2015. Later, in October 2017 remaining galleries were also opened. More than 100 artifacts were transferred here from Patna Museum.
The Samrat Ashok Convention Centre is a convention centre on North Gandhi Maidan Marg, Patna, Bihar with an estimated budget of ₹490 crore. The foundation stone of the centre was laid by Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar on 8 February 2014. An expected, around 16,500 metric tonnes of steel is used in construction, which is more than the volume of steel used in raising Eiffel Tower and Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. The capacity of the main auditorium is around 5000. The Samrat Ashoka Convention centre has three major signature buildings- 1) Bapu Sabahagaar, an auditorium of 5000 seating capacity, 2) Gyan Bhawan with 800 capacity auditorium, multipurpose hall and other conference halls of various capacities; and 3) Sabhyata Dwar. The centre was completed by April 2017 and has Gyan Bhawan, Bapu Sabhagaar, Multipurpose Hall, Plenary Hall, Modular Meeting Rooms with Basement Parking, Sabhyta Park With Sabhyata Dwar & food plaza. In February 2018, Samrat Ashoka Convention Kendra Patna won the 10th CIDC Vishwakarma Achievement Award for best construction projects in India.

The statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Gandhi Maidan, Patna, is a public monument of India's father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi. The statue is the world's tallest bronze statue of Mahatma Gandhi. It was unveiled on 15 February 2013 by the then chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar. It was established by Government of Bihar at a cost of ₹35 crore. Hari Uppal (1926–2011) was an Indian classical dancer and the founder of a classical dance academy by name, Bhartiya Nritya Kala Mandir, known for his expertise in the dance forms of Kathakali and Manipuri. He was honored by the Government of India, in 2010, with the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri.
The 350th Prakash Parv or birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh ji was celebrated in January 2017 in Patna, India. 2017 is the year of the 350th anniversary of the 10th Sikh Guru, a spiritual master, warrior, poet and philosopher. At the date of this anniversary, a number of events was organized on the occasion in Patna marking a grand celebration in their history.
