Bhasha Sumbli is an Indian actress of Kashmiri Hindu (specifically Kashmiri Pandit) origin who is best known for her pivotal roles in the Hindi films The Kashmir Files and Baramulla .

Personal life

Sumbli belongs to the Kashmiri Pandit community. [1] [2] Sumbli's family were forced to flee their home in Kashmir and had to settle in Delhi. [2] Sumbli's mother Kshama Kaul is a Kashmiri Pandit author and poet, and her father Kuldeep Sumbil who is popularly know by his pen name Agnishekhar is also a Hindi poet and author. [3]
