He is the only Indian shooter to win a gold medal in ISSF World Championship, ISSF World Cup, Youth Olympic Games, Asian Games and Asian Air Gun Championship. Shooting competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are scheduled to take place from 27 July to 5 August 2024 at the National Shooting Center in Châteauroux. Varun Tomar is an Indian sport shooter. He bagged an Olympic quota berth for the Paris Olympics in the 10m Air Pistol event by winning a gold medal at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers on 8 January 2024 at Jakarta.
