Life in a... Metro is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language drama film co-produced, co-written, and directed by Anurag Basu. Partly inspired by Billy Wilder's romantic comedy film The Apartment (1960), it features an ensemble cast of Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kangana Ranaut, and Sharman Joshi in lead roles. The music is composed by Pritam with lyrics by Sayeed Quadri. It narrates the lives of nine people living in Mumbai and deals with topics such as extramarital affairs, sanctity of marriage, commitment phobia, and love.
Dino Morea is an Indian actor and former model, who has also appeared in several Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu films. Morea initially established himself as a fashion model before making his film debut in the 1999 film Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. He had his biggest commercial success in the horror film Raaz in 2002. He starred in films such as Gunaah (2002), Plan (2004), Holiday (2006), Dus Kahaniyaan (2007), Bhram (2008) and Acid Factory (2009). After consecutive commercial failures, he made sporadic appearances in film during the 2010s.
Omkara is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language crime drama film adapted from William Shakespeare's Othello, co-written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. It stars an ensemble cast of Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vivek Oberoi and Bipasha Basu in lead roles. Bhardwaj also composed music for the film, including the background score, with lyrics by Gulzar. The film is set in Meerut, a city in Uttar Pradesh. It is the second film in Bhardwaj's trilogy of Shakespeare adaptations, which began with Maqbool (2003) and completed with Haider (2014).

Tom, Dick, & Harry is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language comedy film released on 12 May 2006. It stars Dino Morea, Jimmy Sheirgill, Anuj Sawhney, Celina Jaitly, Kim Sharma, Gulshan Grover and Shakti Kapoor. It had music by Himesh Reshammiya who made a special appearance in the film. The screenplay is actually a mixture of two different plots taken from two different films with similar titles: the 1941 American classic Tom, Dick and Harry and the 1993 Hong Kong hit Tom, Dick and Hairy.

The film, which has been in making since 2008, released on 18 November 2011. The film was the 50th film of Parthipan, has him in the role of a police officer, who is brainy as well as brawny. With an innovative tagline 'With the gun', 'Vithagan' has Poorna as heroine and music has been composed by Joshua Sridhar of 'Kadhal' fame. The film opened to extremely negative reviews and bombed at the box office.
Zila Ghaziabad is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language political action thriller film directed by Anand Kumar. It was produced by Vinod Bachan, and presented by Mohammed Fasih and Bharat Shah. The film features Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi, Arshad Warsi, Charmy Kaur, Minissha Lamba, Ravi Kishan, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Grover in lead roles amongst others. The film also featured Shriya Saran and Geeta Basra for a special appearance. It was based on the true story of the gang wars of Ghaziabad. It was released on 22 February 2013. Upon release, the film received mixed reviews.
