The Rashtriya Janata Dal is an Indian political party,based in the states of Bihar,Jharkhand and Kerala. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Yashwant Sinha is an Indian administrator and politician. He served as the Minister of Finance from 1990 until 1991 under Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar and again from March 1998 to July 2002 under Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The party faced existential crisis when a large section of its Koeri and Yadav support base was defected to Rashtriya Janata Dal in 1990s. However,the ideological commitment of its cadre protected it from disintegration. It staged a comeback in politics after winning twelve seats in Bihar Legislative Assembly in 2020 and by sending two of its members to Lok Sabha in 2024 Indian general elections.
The Praja Socialist Party,abbreviated as PSP,was an Indian political party. It was founded in 1952 when the Socialist Party,led by Jayaprakash Narayan,Rambriksh Benipuri,Acharya Narendra Deva and Basawon Singh (Sinha),merged with the Kisan Mazdoor Praja Party led by J. B. Kripalani.
Hazaribagh is a city and a municipal corporation in Hazaribagh district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is the divisional headquarters of North Chotanagpur division. It is considered as a health resort and is also popular for Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary. It is represented in the Indian Lok Sabha by its Member of Parliament Manish Jaiswal.
Although India is a parliamentary democracy,the country's politics has become dynastic or with high level of nepotism,possibly due to the absence of party organizations,independent civil-society associations which mobilize support for a party,or centralized financing of elections. The dynastic phenomenon is present at the national,state,regional,and district level. The Nehru–Gandhi family has produced three Indian prime ministers,and family members have largely led the Congress party since 1978. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also has several dynastic leaders. In addition to the major national parties,other national and regional parties such as Shiromani Akali Dal,Shiv Sena,Samajwadi Party,Rashtriya Janata Dal,Janata Dal Secular,Jharkhand Mukti Morcha,Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam,Kerala Congress,Jammu &Kashmir National Conference,Indian Union Muslim League,AIMIM,and the Nationalist Congress Party are all dominated by families,mostly those of the party founders.
Babulal Marandi is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and it's Jharkhand unit president. He was the first Chief Minister of Jharkhand and formerly Leader of the Legislature Party of BJP in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. He was also the founder and national President of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik),which he later merged with BJP. He was the Member of Parliament in 12th,13th 14th and 15th Lok Sabha from Jharkhand. He was the Union State Minister (MoS) for Forests &Environment of India in the BJP –led National Democratic Alliance Government in 1998 to 2000. He was appointed as Jharkhand BJP president on 04 July 2023.

In 2014,Mahto had left BJP to join All Jharkhand Students Union,when denied ticket to contest from Hazaribagh Lok Sabha constituency. He participated in 2014 Lok Sabha elections and finished at third position.
Chaturanan Mishra was an Indian politician and trade unionist. Mishra,who was born in Nahar,Madhubani District,was a key leader of the Communist Party of India in Bihar,and served as the Agriculture Minister of India in the United Front government.

Mahabir Lal Vishwakarma is an Indian politician,educationist and the former Member of parliament. He was elected during the 11th general elections of India conducted in 1996. He represented Hazaribagh parliamentary constituency from 1996 to 1998.
Aklu Ram Mahto was an Indian politician from Jharkhand,who served as Minister for Finance and Institution in undivided Bihar. He was a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal,having served as important functionary in several other political parties in past. He was a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly via Bokaro constituency. He won the Bihar Assembly Election in 1995 securing 99,798 votes. Mahto won Vidhan Sabha elections in the year 1980 and 1995. He had contested Lok Sabha elections from Dhanbad on four occasions while from Giridih and Hazaribagh once. Mahto was also associated with the movement,which started on the question of including Manbhum in West Bengal. He was one of the prominent leader to voice support for the rights of displaced people,who needed rehabilitation after the establishment of Bokaro Steel Plant. For four decades,after coming into existence of Bokaro Assembly constituency in 1977,he remained pivotal in its politics.
Dev Dyal Kushwaha was an Indian politician,who served as first agriculture minister for the state of Jharkhand,after its formation. He was appointed as Minister for Agriculture in first Jharkhand government,which was led by Babu Lal Marandi. Kushwaha was a leader of Bhartiya Janata Party,who represented Hazaribagh Sadar Assembly constituency as Member of Legislative Assembly for three times. Before joining active politics he was associated with pedagogy. Kushwaha won the assembly elections of 1990,1995 and 2000 from Hazaribagh Assembly constituency. Besides,Babu Lal Marandi's cabinet,he also served as a minister in Arjun Munda's cabinet. In 2005 Jharkhand Assembly elections,he was defeated by Saurabh Narain Singh—the grandson of Kamakhya Narain Singh.
Raja Ram Singh or Raja Ram Singh Kushwaha,is an Indian politician based in Bihar,who was elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly twice,from Obra Assembly constituency in Aurangabad district. He is a member of Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation. He was first elected in 1995 and retained this constituency in 2000 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections. He is also a politburo member of CPI(ML)L. In 2024 Indian general election,he defeated Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh with a margin of over one lakh votes to win Karakat Lok Sabha constituency. He stood first in the triangular electoral contest involving National Democratic Alliance candidate and Rashtriya Lok Morcha president,Upendra Kushwaha and Pawan Singh.
Manish Jaiswal is an Indian politician from Jharkhand. He was elected candidate for Lok Sabha from Hazaribagh Lok Sabha constituency in Hazaribagh district. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
