Big Bang is the third studio album by the Finnish avant-garde progressive metal band Waltari, released in 1995.
The album produced two singles, both with promotional videos: Atmosfear and The Stage. These singles are two of the three Waltari compositions to reach the top 20 in the Finnish charts. Atmosfear peaked at 6 and The Stage at 15. [1] The album itself reached a high of 7 in the national charts and was their second most successful album. [2]
At sputnikmusic.com the album received 4.1 out of 5. [3] Allmusic.com also rated it as 4 out of 5. [4] At rateyourmusic.com one reviewer likened them to a poor imitation of Faith No More with only two songs worthy of note. Other reviews are more positive. Overall the most common vote on this site is 4 out of 5. [5]

Over the Hills and Far Away is the first EP by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, released on 25 June 2001 through Spinefarm Records in Finland, and Drakkar Records in the rest of Europe. It was also released by Toy's Factory in Japan and Century Media Records in the US. Bassist Sami Vänskä left the band after its recording, due to musical differences between him and Tuomas Holopainen. He was replaced by the bassist and male vocalist, Marko Hietala.
Century Child is the fourth studio album by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. It is the first album which features former bassist and male vocalist Marko Hietala. It is also the first Nightwish album to feature an orchestra.
Winterheart's Guild is the third studio album by the power metal band Sonata Arctica. It was released in 2003 through Spinefarm Records. In a 2014 interview, vocalist, keyboardist and songwriter Tony Kakko said inspiration for writing "The Ruins of My Life" came from the film Braveheart. In 2019, he would refer to the album's recording process as a "nightmare" because he only had "two or three" songs ready when the band went in the studio.

Infinite is the eighth studio album by power metal band Stratovarius, released on 28 February 2000 through Nuclear Blast (Europe) and Victor Entertainment (Japan). "Hunting High and Low" and "A Million Light Years Away" were released as singles, reaching No. 4 and 14 respectively on the Finnish singles chart.
