Chris Trinidad Flores (born August 31, 1970), known professionally as Big Chris Flores, is an American-Mexican record producer and sound engineer. He first began his music production career in 1999, and in 2002, he founded Moodswing Records. [1] Over the years, Big Chris has been producing music for people such as; Slash, Fergie, K-Ci & JoJo, Layzie Bone, KRS-One, C-Bo, Bun B, Trill OG, Lil Zane, Cedric the Entertainer, and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
Chris Trinidad Flores was born on August 31, 1970.[ citation needed ] Upon completion of his recording education in 1995, Big Chris went on to become an assistant engineer at Brandon's Way Recording Studio; which is Kenneth "Baby Face" Edmunds private recording studio. Here, Big Chris assisted on a number of recording projects; among them, Babyface, [2] [ unreliable source? ] En Vogue, Boyz II Men, Kenny Loggins, Rolling Stones, Az Yet, etc. In 1997, Big Chris went on to become chief sound engineer at King Pin Records, [3] where he engineered for a number of rap groups, including Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, and many other artists that were signed to King Pin Records.
In 1999, Big Chris met Cedric the Entertainer, just prior to Cedric filming the hit movie The Original Kings of Comedy . Upon Cedric's request, Big Chris wrote a reggae/instrumental song named, Peanut Butter, No Jam, which Cedric sings to live in the movie. Soon after the release of The Original Kings of Comedy , Big Chris signed a twelve-song publishing deal with Cedric, which kick started his production career. In 2000-2001 Big Chris scored a documentary video on the life of Cedric the Entertainer, called Life is a Tour .
In 2002, Big Chris wrote and produced a song for Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony for the movie Barbershop , starring Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer. The same year, Big Chris recorded and produced six songs with KRS-One for a mix tape "dissing" Nelly, after Nelly "dissed" KRS-One on BET's 106 & Park . Later that year, Big Chris founded his music studio and production company, "The Rehab Studio", where he produced rock, pop reggae, Latin and urban tracks for television and film. As of today he has placed over eighty songs in various television shows, including MTV's Laguna Beach , The Hills , The City , The X Effect , and P Diddy's Making the Band .
In 2003, Big Chris Flores produced the opening song to an album by the Mo Thugs Family named "IV: The Movement", featuring Layzie Bone. In 2005, Big Chris produced and mixed a Latin hip hop song, performed by Camilo "Tea Time" Castaldi named En La Calle, which was released on Machete Music's Hip Hop En Tu Idioma compilation album. That same year, Big Chris produced and mixed a reggae album, featuring top name reggae artists such as Prezident Brown, Luciano and Grammy award winner Yami Bolo.
In 2006, Big Chris produced and mixed a reggaeton song called Passion which was released in the movie Jarhead 's DVD collector's edition. In 2007, Big Chris produced and mixed two songs for a Cedric the Entertainer and Lucy Liu movie called, Code Name: The Cleaner . [4] [ failed verification ] That same year, Big Fish Audio released an audio DVD containing forty two tracks produced and mixed by Big Chris named Hip Hop Moodswings, for their catalog of production loops and sounds for producers to use. Hip Hop Moodswings was number one in the Big Fish catalog for more than two months.
In 2008, Big Chris produced and mixed a score written by Velvet Revolver guitarist/ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, [5] for a movie called This is Not a Movie , [6] [ unreliable source? ] which was released in Mexico and Europe in January 2011, and is soon to be released in the United States. Immediately after the music production of This is Not a Movie, Big Chris and Slash started pre-production on Slash's first self-titled solo album, where Big Chris did production throughout the album, along with Eric Valentine, Kid Rock and Kevin Churko, which included production, keyboards and programming on one of the hit singles featuring Fergie called Beautiful Dangerous . Big Chris continues to record, produce and mix at his production studio in L.A. called "The Rehab Studio". Recent projects include Miss Bang Bang's single and music video Punch Drunk Lover featuring Slash acting as engineer for Rihanna's single, [8] Rock Star 101 featuring Slash, as well as Bun B's album, Trill OG . He is also co-writing and producing songs with Jeff Foskett, among others.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is an American hip hop group composed of rappers Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone. Formed in 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio, the group signed to fellow American rapper Eazy-E's Ruthless Records in late 1993, on which they debuted with their EP Creepin on ah Come Up the next year. The EP included their breakout hit single "Thuggish Ruggish Bone". In 1995, the group released its second album E. 1999 Eternal, which included hits "1st of tha Month" and "East 1999". Their hit song "Tha Crossroads", a tribute to then-recently deceased mentor Eazy-E, won a Grammy Award in 1997.
Steven Howse, known professionally as Layzie Bone, is a rapper known primarily for being a member of the group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. He has also gone by the names L-Burna, Lil Lay, and The #1 Assassin. He is the younger brother of fellow group member Flesh-N-Bone and cousin of group member Wish Bone. Layzie is also a member of the rap group Bone Brothers and CEO of the record label Harmony Howse Entertainment.
Bone Brothers is the self-titled debut studio album by American hip hop duo Bone Brothers, composed of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony members Bizzy Bone and Layzie Bone. It was released on February 22, 2005 via Koch Records. Thug Brothers is a collaborative studio album by American rappers Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Young Noble of the Outlawz. It was released on February 7, 2006 via Real Talk Entertainment. A sequel album Thug Brothers 2 was released in 2017 which is a collaborative effort by Krayzie Bone and Young Noble, Krazie Bone picks up where Layzie Bone left off.

"Look into My Eyes" is a song performed by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, written by members Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone and Wish Bone, Anthony Eugene Cowan, and producer Tim "DJ U-Neek" Middleton. It was released on June 3, 1997, via Ruthless and Relativity Records as the third single from Music from and Inspired by the "Batman & Robin" Motion Picture and lead single from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's third studio album The Art of War. Recording sessions took place at Studio Cat and at U-Neeks Workshop in Los Angeles.
"Thuggish Ruggish Bone" is the debut single by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, from their debut EP Creepin on ah Come Up. It features Louisiana-born singer Shatasha Williams. The song reached #22 on the Billboard Hot 100. It marked the first time Bone recorded as a trio for a full album, as Bizzy Bone was still ejected from the group. Thug Stories was the group's first major label LP length release since 2002's Thug World Order Ruthless Records. As of April 11, 2007, it has sold 92,465 copies.
Family Scriptures Chapter II: Family Reunion is the second studio album by American hip hop collective Mo Thugs. It was released on May 26, 1998 via Mo Thugs/Relativity Records, serving as a sequel to the group's 1996 album Family Scriptures. Recording sessions took place at Studio 56 and at Private Island Trax in Los Angeles, at Audio Vision Studios and at H&N Studios in Miami, and at G.T.R. Media Studios. Bone Brothers 2 is an album the record label put out. It’s a mix of old verses from Bizzy Bone and Layzie Bone. It was released via Real Talk Entertainment on May 8, 2007, the same day as Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's Strength & Loyalty. Recording sessions took place at the White House with Black Trim. Production was handled by Big Hollis, Vince V., Preach and Derrick "Sac" Johnson, who also served as executive producer. The album debuted at number 122 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling over 7,000 units during its first week. Albums purchased at Best Buy include three bonus Bizzy Bone tracks.

A New Breed of Female is the only studio album by American hip hop group II Tru. It was released on September 9, 1997, via Mo Thugs/Relativity Records. The recording sessions took place at Private Island Trax, in Los Angeles.
