Big Noize, also written as Big Noise, were an American rock supergroup, including members of Deep Purple, Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Black Sabbath, Quiet Riot, AC/DC, Skid Row, Dokken, Kiss and Bon Jovi. Bassist Phil Soussan was the band's only consistent member.
Big Noize was formed in 2006 by singer Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple), guitarist Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot), drummer Vinny Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath), bassist Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol) and keyboardist Gary Corbett (Cinderella, Kiss). [1] By 2008, Corbett was replaced by Teddy "Zig Zag" Andreadis (Guns 'N' Roses, Alice Cooper). [2] [3] The band's setlist mainly consisted of songs by band's that the members had been a part of. The band did some shows at Camp Taji, Iraq for soldiers. For these shows, Appice was replaced by Simon Wright, who had replaced by in Dio and also played in AC/DC, [4] keyboards were played by Alex Bubenheim. [5] The band next played at Z Rock 2009 in Dudley, England, which Appice back as the band's drummer. [6] They were inactive again until 2011, when Turner, Cavazo, Appice and Soussan were joined by keyboardist Erik Norlander. [7] [8]
Soussan and Appice unveiled a new line-up in 2013, featuring guitarist George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob), and singer Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), [9] Bach had previously performed with the band in 2012, when Turner was unavailable. [10]
The band rebooted in 2014, again with Bach and Bruce Kulick on guitar, [11] for a Mexican tour. The tour, however, was postponed due to an illness, [12] and later cancelled. [13] The band finally played a show in Moscow in 2016, with guitarist/vocalist Phil X (Bon Jovi), guitarist Craig Goldy (Dio, Giuffria), and returning keyboardist Teddy "Zig Zag" Andreadis. [14]
Dio was an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 and led by vocalist Ronnie James Dio. Dio left Black Sabbath with intentions to form a new band with fellow former Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice. The name Dio was chosen because it made sense from a commercial standpoint, as the name was already well known at that time.

Jeffrey Steven Pilson is an American musician best known for being the bass player in the glam metal band Dokken and currently classic rock band Foreigner. He has also had an extended stint with Dio in the 1990s.
Simon Wright is an English drummer best known for his work with rock bands AC/DC and Dio. He started playing drums at the age of 13 and cites Cozy Powell, Tommy Aldridge and John Bonham as his greatest influences. He was also the drummer for Rhino Bucket, UFO and Operation: Mindcrime.
James Stewart Bain was a Scottish musician, best known for playing bass guitar in the bands Rainbow and Dio. He also worked with Kate Bush and Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott, co-writing on his solo albums.

They released three studio albums of original material without Schnell between February 2016 and March 2023.
