Rahul Rajiv Gandhi is an Indian politician and a member of the Indian Parliament,who represents the constituency of Wayanad,Kerala in the Lok Sabha. He previously represented the constituency of Amethi,Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of the main opposition party,the Indian National Congress and was the party president from December 2017 to July 2019. He is the chairperson of the Indian Youth Congress,the National Students Union of India and a trustee of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust. On 23 March 2023,he was convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment by a court in Gujarat for a 2019 speech made against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on defamation allegations related to his surname;the conviction resulted in his disqualification from the Parliament. However,in August 2023,the Supreme Court of India stayed his conviction,which allowed him to contest the next election and to be reinstated as an MP for Wayanad. On 7 August 2023,he was reinstated as Member of Parliament.
Ajit Pramod Kumar Jogi was an Indian politician,who has served as the 1st Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh from 2000 to 2003 and a member of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly from Marwahi from 2018 to 2020 and from 2001 to 2013. He also served as a member of Lok Sabha from Mahasamund from 2004 to 2008 and from Raigarh from 1998 to 1999 and member of Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh from 1986 to 1998 and district collector of Raipur in Office from 1978 to 1981. He was a member of Indian National Congress till 2016 and the founder of the political party named Janta Congress Chhattisgarh and the 1st President of the party from 2016 till he died in 2020.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is a centre-right to right-wing conservative Indian political alliance led by the right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). It was founded in 1998 and currently controls the government of India as well as the government of 15 Indian states and one Union territory.
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) is the presidium or the central decision-making assembly of the Indian National Congress. It is composed of members elected from state-level Pradesh Congress Committees and can have as many as a thousand members. It is the AICC that elects members of the Congress Working Committee and the Congress President,who is also the head of the AICC.
Ramesh Bais is an Indian politician who currently serving as the 23rd Governor of Maharashtra since 2023. Subburaman Thirunavukkarasar is an Indian politician. He was the State President of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee till 2 February 2019 and former secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) of the Indian National Congress (INC) party. His introduction to politics in 1977 was facilitated by former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu,M. G. Ramachandran. Ramachandran founded the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in 1972 and was facing his first elections for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election in 1977. He identified Thirunavukkarasar,a lawyer by profession,to contest the Aranthangi assembly constituency. Thirunavukkarasar won the seat,aged 27,and was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. He continued in that capacity till 1980. Subsequently,he served as Tamil Nadu state minister from 1980 to 1987 in the MGR cabinet,holding portfolios that included Industries,Housing Board,Excise and Handlooms. Later,he became a member of the Lok Sabha –the lower house of the Parliament of India –when he won the erstwhile Pudukottai Lok Sabha constituency. He served as Union Minister of state for shipping and later for telecommunications and information technology.
Randeep Singh Surjewala is an Indian politician from Haryana and a member of Indian National Congress party. He was an MLA in the Haryana state legislature until 2019 and a former minister. He held water supply and sanitation,parliamentary affairs,electronics and information technology,science and technology and public works as a minister in Haryana cabinet. In 2005,he was given the responsibility of Transport and Parliamentary Affairs and thus became the youngest minister in Haryana. He defeated Om Prakash Chautala in 1996 and 2005. As of December 2017,Surjewala is one of the official spokespersons of Indian National Congress party,and as of September 2021,is a General Secretary of the Indian National Congress and Party in-charge for Karnataka. In the biennial elections of the Rajya Sabha for the State of Rajasthan,held on 10 June 2022,Mr. Surjewala was elected as a Member of Parliament,Rajya Sabha,with his term to start on 5 July 2022.
Mapanna Mallikarjun Kharge is an Indian politician,who is the current president of the Indian National Congress since 2022,and Member of Parliament,Rajya Sabha from Karnataka since 2020. He currently serving as Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha since 17 December 2022. He was also Leader of Indian National Congress,Lok Sabha from 2014 to 2019 and chairperson of Public Accounts Committee (India) from 2016 to 2019. He was formerly the Minister of Railways from 2013 to 2014 and Minister of Labour and Employment from 2009 to 2013 in the Government of India. Kharge was a Member of Parliament for Gulbarga,Karnataka from 2009 to 2019. He was also general secretary of All India Congress Committee and incharge for Maharashtra from 2018 to 2020.

He served as the Minister of Cooperatives,Parliamentary affairs and General administration in Government of Madhya Pradesh under Chief Minister Kamal Nath between December 2018 and March 2020.

Sudip Roy Barman is an Indian politician from Tripura. He served as the MLA of the Tripura Legislative Assembly from the Agartala constituency which he held since 1998 by winning four elections consecutively on INC ticket by handsome margins. In 2018,he contested from Agartala constituency and won on BJP ticket. On 7 February 2022,he quit BJP and resigned from his MLA post. On 8 February he joined the Indian National Congress in Delhi. Again on 23 June 2022,he contested from Agartala constituency and won on INC ticket defeating his nearest rival of BJP by more than 3500 votes.

Neeraj Dangi is an Indian politician from Rajasthan. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha,upper house of the Parliament of India from Rajasthan in the June 2020 Rajya sabha elections as an Indian National Congress candidate.
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Tripura on 16 February 2023 to elect all 60 members of the Tripura Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 2 March 2023.
