Bim are a British electro and acoustic duo. They released their debut album, Scatterheart in October 2010.
Based in Bath, Somerset, Bim are composed of Tim Davis (singer, songwriter, producer) and Rebecca Rosier (singer, songwriter). Davis is primarily a pop producer/writer, but has also composed for commercials. Rosier is a writer and trained as a contemporary dancer.
The duo met and formed in 2007 after being introduced at a Million Dead gig in Bristol. Davis was involved in pop-punk band Home From Home at the time, while also working on a solo electro project. After recording a demo together, the duo continued to write and record while studying at universities in London, releasing their first EP in September 2007.
A video for the single "Stay in My Memory", by award-winning mixed media animator Katy Davis gained popularity and won a number of awards in animation and short film festivals in 2009. The video went on to be featured on YouTube and Myspace. At time of writing (24 June 2011), the video has had 825,960 views on YouTube.
The duo released "Head Over Heels", the first single from their debut album Scatterheart, as a free download in October 2010. Scatterheart was independently released shortly after with a secret launch party at Road Trip in London with The Good Natured, organised by pop blogger EQ. Following the album launch, the duo were Band of the Day in national newspaper The Guardian , [1] as well as featuring in NME's Peter Robinson's top five underground bands. Q labeled them as "the next big things" while in the American Instinct magazine , the album was given a four-star review.
In late summer of 2010, the duo released acoustic versions of their album tracks, "Raindrops", "Head Over Heels" with a cover version of Regina Spektor's "Us".
Bim released singles "Scream" in April 2012 and "Lights Out" in August 2012, with an EP Lifelines released in November 2012. On Valentine's Day in 2013, Bim released a cover version of Chris de Burgh's "The Lady in Red", which received airplay on BBC Introducing and was picked up by MTV (UK and Ireland). Later in the same year, the duo released an acoustic track, "Stop You", also seen on MTV (UK and Ireland).
In March 2015, Bim are due to release their second album, Two, independently via their website. The first single, "My Body My Mind" was released on YouTube and via Bim's website on 28 January 2015, featuring a video that was entirely shot in reverse.

Yellowcard is an American rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997. The lineup currently consists of lead singer Ryan Key, lead guitarist Ryan Mendez, bassist Josh Portman and violinist Sean Mackin. Primarily a pop-punk group, their music is recognized for having a distinct sound in its genre, primarily due to the prominent use of a violin in their songs, and are best known for their singles "Ocean Avenue", "Only One", and "Lights and Sounds". Released in 2003, "Ocean Avenue" and its parent album of the same name are both certified double platinum in the US by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA); "Only One" and the band's 2006 album Lights and Sounds have been certified gold. The band has released ten studio albums, with its most recent, Yellowcard, released on September 30, 2016. Following this release and supporting tour, the band broke up. The band reunited in September 2022 for a performance at Riot Fest and embarked on a 20th-anniversary tour for Ocean Avenue in 2023. A new EP, Childhood Eyes, was released on July 21, 2023.
Chromeo is a Canadian electro-funk duo from Montreal, formed in 2002 by musicians David "Dave 1" Macklovitch and Patrick "P-Thugg" Gemayel. Their sound draws from soul music, dance music, rock, synth-pop, disco and funk.
Belanova is a Mexican pop band that formed in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, in 2000. The group consisted of Denisse Guerrero, Edgar Huerta and Ricardo "Richie" Arreola. Although these are the only three official members, several other musicians performed in the band's live lineup, most notably Israel "Campanita" Ulloa (drums) and Richo Acosta (guitar). The band was signed to Virus Records, owned by Universal Music, in 2002.

Breathe Carolina are an American electronic music duo from Denver, Colorado. The duo formed in 2007 consisting of David Schmitt and Kyle Even. They later expanded to a full band whose best-known lineup included Schmitt, Even, drummer Eric Armenta, keytarist Joshua Aragon and DJ Luis Bonet. In 2013, Even left the group, while Tommy Cooperman joined that year. Breathe Carolina is currently composed of Schmitt and Cooperman.

Shakespears Sister is an alternative pop and rock musical duo that was formed in 1988 by Irish singer-songwriter Siobhan Fahey, a former member of Bananarama. Shakespears Sister was initially a solo act but became a duo by 1989, with the addition of American musician Marcella Detroit. Together they released two top-ten albums and a string of top-forty hits, including the 1992 single "Stay", which remained at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart for eight weeks. Detroit was sacked from the band in 1993, leaving Fahey as the sole member again, until the latter ended the project in 1996. After working under her own name for some years, Fahey revived the Shakespears Sister moniker in 2009. In 2019, Fahey and Detroit reunited as Shakespears Sister for a tour and released the singles "All the Queen's Horses" and "When She Finds You", and the EP Ride Again.

She was discovered by the Cataracs and record label Indie-Pop via Myspace after Dev's friend posted a video of her singing. "Blackout" is a song by American electronic rock duo Breathe Carolina. It is the lead single from their third studio album Hell Is What You Make It. It was written by David Schmitt, Kyle Even, Eric Armenta, Joshua Aragon, and Luis Bonet, whilst production was handled by Ian Kirkpatrick. Recorded between late 2010 and early 2011, it was one of the first tracks recorded for the album. On December 22, 2010, a snippet of the song was previewed in a YouTube video by Fearless Records. It premiered via MTV Buzzworthy on June 13, 2011, while it was available for digital download the following day.

Savoir Adore is a pop-rock group duo from Brooklyn, New York City, United States initially consisting of Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro. In 2014, Deidre Muro left the band while Hammer worked with a guest vocalist. Hammer began collaborating with Lauren Zettler shortly after, and she became a permanent member. As of June 2020 the band has released five albums, several EPs, numerous singles and a number of remixes albums. They also have done an international tour.
Story Untold is a Canadian rock band based in Laval, Quebec. Founded in 2012, the band signed with Hopeless Records in May 2016. Shortly after signing, they recorded their self-titled EP, then went on tour with Simple Plan and Hit the Lights. Story Untold current line-up included vocalist and main songwriter Janick Thibault and drummer Jonathan Landry. In December 2019, the band left Hopeless Records and now remain as an independent group.
