Biogenic Alcohol, or most commonly known as Biogenic, is a Philippine brand of isopropyl and ethyl alcohol owned by Cosmetique Asia Corporation. [1] [2] It was first introduced in 2006. [3] The brand is named after biogenic substance, a product made of life forms.

History

Biogenic was introduced in 1999 and originally manufactured by The Rogemson Company Inc. in Caloocan, Metro Manila. [3] In 2014, Cosmetique Asia Corporation acquired The Rogemson Company Inc., which produced cosmetic and personal care brands such as Bambini and Biogenic. Since then, Biogenic is currently owned by Cosmetique Asia Corporation (CAC), the maker of Silka Papaya and Juicy Cologne. [1]
