Bitburg Middle-High School (generally referred to as BMHS), originally opened in 1956, was part of the Kaiserslautern School District and had a student population of approximately 230 with a faculty of thirty. It was situated in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. In the 2013-14 school year, the Bitburg Middle School was integrated into the high school.
Although Bitburg Middle-High School was located at the Bitburg Air Base housing complex, many of the students that attend this school live at the Spangdahlem Air Base or villages in the surrounding areas. Over the course of the next decade, a new middle/high school will be built at the Spangdahlem Air Base.
Bitburg Middle-High School was a member of the Department of Defense Dependents Schools network. It implemented and a Block Scheduling/Seminar schedule during the 1994–1995 school year.
In 2017, Bitburg Middle-High School closed. [1] in preparation for a complete hand over of the Bitburg grounds back to German control in 2018. Students and faculty moved to Spangdahlem.
Bitburg Middle-High School is fully accredited by AdvancED. [2]
There are three computer labs and students have access to 12 carrels containing laptop computers. Additionally, there is a intranet in which students can save files to their own server partition.
A wide variety of distance learning courses are offered, including Marine Biology, French, AP Macroeconomics, AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics.
Bitburg Middle-High School offers many Advanced Placement courses through the College Board program.
There is interscholastic competition for boys and girls during these three seasons. All athletes must abide by the Bitburg HS athletic code. A physical examination each year is required to try out, practice or play. All students must maintain academic eligibility in order to participate in the athletics program. [3]

Bitburg offers a various number of clubs for students to join. Each club elects at least one position (Senator) and may select up to six (Secretary, Vice President, President, etc.)

Aviano Middle/High School is a Department of Defense Education Activity secondary school located on the Italian owned NATO Air Base in Aviano, Italy which hosts the 31st Fighter Wing. The majority of students are dependents of active duty military personnel, DoD employees, contractors and diplomats, although a small percentage are children of other English speaking expatriates or local Italian residents.
Belmont High School is a four-year public high school in Belmont, Massachusetts, United States. The new school building was opened in 2021. The school had 1,309 students enrolled and a student/teacher ratio of 16.8:1 in the 2020–2021 school year. The second part of the building, which is the Belmont Junior High, is currently still under construction.
Methacton High School (MHS) is a public high school located in the Fairview Village area, in Worcester Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Souhegan Cooperative High School is a Coalition of Essential Schools high school located in Amherst, New Hampshire, in the United States. Students from Amherst and Mont Vernon attend Souhegan for 9th through 12th grades. There are about 750 students. The school was founded based on the work of Theodore R. Sizer, a former dean of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a notable American education reform leader and the father of the Essential Schools movement. Notably, Souhegan's progressive reputation has been chronicled in the book Standards of Mind and Heart: Creating the Good High School by Tony Wagner, Peggy Silvia and Dr. Robert A. Mackin. Based on this history, the school was founded with the mission "Souhegan High School aspires to be a community of learners born of respect, trust and courage." The school name is derived from its proximity to the Souhegan River, which adjoins the school property. The word Souhegan comes from the Algonquin language, meaning "waiting and watching place".
NSITE High School is a business and technology magnet high school part of the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas. It is a "school within a school" located on the campus of Oliver Wendell Holmes High School. The school attracts students who want to study business and other related fields. The school allows the students to grasp the concepts of the business world easier by offering laptops to each student to use for a school purposes.
