Bitchcraft is the seventh studio album by the electronica duo Blood on the Dance Floor. The album was self-released on June 10, 2014, via Dark Fantasy Records. It includes 10 tracks, featuring collaborations by Shawn Brandon, William Control, Jeffree Star and Kerry Louise.

Background

In the beginning of 2014, Blood On The Dance Floor posted on their Facebook page that Andrew 'Drew' Apathy would be joining the BOTDF team as their 'dark knight' and 'deputy'. [1] Not long after they also announced their new EP 'Bitch Craft' which was set to be released late winter with a single being released in February. [2] [3] Their single 'We're Takin over!' featuring Deuce was released February 7. [4] [5] Other songs like "Poison Apple" featuring Jeffree Star, "Call Me Master", "Bitchcraft" (with the album's pre-order) and "Freaks Do It Better!" featuring Kerry Louise were released in iTunes. "Bitchcraft" was finally released as a 10-tracks album on June 10, 2014, including all the previously released singles except "We're Taking over!". [6]

Singles

The album is preceded by the buzz single "We're Takin' Over!" featuring rapper Deuce, released February 7, 2014 [5] followed by "Poison Apple" featuring vocals by synthpop singer Jeffree Star released the 28 of the same month. [7] The album includes a remastered version of the song. The title track was made available for free download with the pre-order of the album and another two songs "Call Me Master" and "Freaks Do It Better" featuring Kerry Louise were made available on April 20 and May 31, 2014, respectively. <i>Beauty Killer</i> 2009 studio album by Jeffree Star

Beauty Killer is the only studio album by American singer Jeffree Star, released on September 21, 2009 under Popsicle Records through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group. The album was mostly produced by God's Paparazzi, but also features work from other producers and artists, including producer Lester Mendez and Young Money singer and rapper Nicki Minaj. Beauty Killer features rock, electronic, dance, and pop elements in its music and lyrics, similar to previous works from Star. The album debut at number 122 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album spawned two official singles, "Prisoner" and "Lollipop Luxury", and several promotional singles, including "Love Rhymes with Fuck You", "Blush", and "Beauty Killer". Music videos were made for both "Get Away with Murder" and "Beauty Killer", and were made available for streaming and digital download in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Beauty Killer was recorded mainly in California, though some songs were recorded in Illinois and Georgia.

Aron Erlichman, better known by his stage name Deuce, is an American rapper, music producer and guitarist. Brought to fame as a producer, singer-songwriter and one of the founding members of rap rock band Hollywood Undead, Deuce departed from Hollywood Undead in 2010 and has since moved on to solo work through the label "Five Seven Music", a branch of Eleven Seven Music. He was formerly involved in a movement with fellow rapper Truth called "Nine Lives". Deuce released his debut album of the same name on April 24, 2012, which sold 11,425 copies in its first week. Deuce has also collaborated with artists NXTREADY, Ronnie Radke, Brokencyde and Blood on the Dance Floor.

Blood on the Dance Floor was an American electronic music group from Orlando, Florida, formed in 2006. The group's longest standing lineup, from 2009 to 2016, consisted of Jesus David Torres also known as Dahvie Vanity and Jayy Von Monroe. The group released nine studio albums before breaking up in 2016 following Von Monroe's departure. It was reformed by Vanity the following year, initially with Fallon Vendetta. After Vendetta's departure, Vanity became the sole member of the group. Since 2019, Vanity has performed under the name Kawaii Monster and most recently the Most Vivid Nightmares.
