Lugbara cuisine is one of the meals of East Africa and the ancient Lado Enclave. Okuyo Joel Atiku Prynce is a Ugandan actor, model, photographer and lecturer at Uganda Christian University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration (BSWSA) plus Makerere University, the Best Two Campuses in Uganda. His film acting breakthrough came when he was cast as the Devil's reincarnation in Ugandan director Matt Bish's 2007 Film Battle of the Souls, a popular Ugawood Movie. It was based on the real-life story of the director's brother, KFM Radio Presenter Roger Mugisha. Prynce is also the President of his own company The Lhynnq-X, Inc. Born in Arua on 4 December 1983 to a Lugbara couple, the late Lt.Colonel Gabriel Francis Atiku and Yema Drakuru Atiku, his debut villain role won him over five international accolades including Best Supporting Actor at the Balafon Film Festival in Bari, Italy (2008) and 2009's Best Actor in Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in Lagos, Nigeria. Other awards include Best Actor at both Ubuntu Village, Colorado (USA) in 2010 and the 2011 Zanzibar International Film Festival [ZIFF] in Tanzania. BTN Television, an acronym for Bornfree Technologies Network, is a television broadcaster on Arua Hill where they moved in 2015, after starting from Anyafio, a suburb of Arua. It is registered by Uganda Communications Commission to broadcast on UHF 23 in West Nile and UHF 61 in Kampala. It was the first television station from Arua and West Nile. It started broadcasts from the northern end of the outer crescent road off Oda Road.

Nsikatila, sometimes spelt Nsikatira, is a world-pop love song by Ugandan music duo Undercover Brothers Ug. It was released as the second single from their first EP album and first major release, At Dawn in December (2014) and re-released in January as the first single from their 2016 album, Hitlist. Co-written by the duo's Timothy Kirya and Jay K Mulungi and produced by Jude Mugerwa, the lyrics portray a lover who stammers whenever he talks to his lover.

Overcoats is a New York based indie pop duo consisting of singer-songwriters Hana Elion and JJ Mitchell. Their debut album, YOUNG, was released on April 21, 2017, through Arts & Crafts Productions. Their second full length record, The Fight, came out March 6th, 2020 on Loma Vista Recordings. Arua Hill Sports Club is a Ugandan football club based in Arua. Previously branded as Doves All Stars FC, Arua Hill SC got promoted to the 2022 Ugandan Premier League after topping their Elgon Group in the 2021 FUFA Big League. It was the club's sixth attempt to reach top flight football. Having bought 100 percent shares in Doves, Joel Aita became the new owner of the club during 2020.
