The Black Rat was a restaurant in Winchester, in Hampshire, England. As of 2021 [update] , the restaurant lost its one star in the Michelin Guide that had been held since 2011. [1] The restaurant closed in 2022. [2] It was formerly called "The Kings" and became a Grade II listed building on 14 January 1974, listed as "Kings Arms Public House". [3]

St. John is an English restaurant on St John Street in Smithfield, London. It was opened in October 1994 by Trevor Gulliver, Fergus Henderson, and Jon Spiteri on the premises of a former bacon smoke-house. Under Henderson's guidance as head chef, St. John has specialised in "nose to tail eating", with a devotion to offal and other cuts of meat rarely seen in restaurants, often reclaiming traditional British recipes. Typical dishes include pigs' ears, ducks' hearts, trotters, pigs' tails, bone marrow and, when in season, squirrel. As a result, St. John has developed a following amongst gastronomic circles: "chefs, foodies, food writers and cooks on sabbatical".
Tom Aikens was a London Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant operated by the eponymous chef from April 2003 opening to January 2014 closure. The restaurant received mostly positive critical reception.
Le Champignon Sauvage is a restaurant located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. As of 2008, the restaurant holds two stars in the Michelin Guide. In 1987 the restaurant was opened by husband and wife, David and Helen Everitt-Mattias, initially for a period of three years, but the couple stayed with the restaurant due to high interest rates. To keep costs down, David, the head chef, incorporated cheaper cuts of meat and foraged ingredients on the menu. As of 1 October 2018, the restaurant has been downgraded to 1 Michelin star for the 2019 guide. It is currently the only Michelin starred restaurant in Gloucestershire.

The Tamarind restaurant is an Indian restaurant in Mayfair, London, opened in 1995. The restaurant was founded by businessmen Vipin Khanna and his youngest son, Aditya Khanna. It won a Michelin star in 2001, the first Indian restaurant to do so. The Michelin star was won under then chef, Atul Kochhar. Jonathan Gold, in the Los Angeles Times, wrote that he had been impressed by its "frank attempt to produce Indian food with the sheen and polish of white-tablecloth European cuisine", though he chiefly recalled "the wine list, the flowers, and the cost." The Michelin Guide described the food and menu as "extensive à la carte of generous dishes perfect for sharing, with a selection of small plates like Rajasthani churi chaat to start, and a good selection of curries and biryanis for the main course." In 2023, Tamarind was featured in an article published by Tatler on the "The most outstanding Indian restaurants in London".
Kitchen Table is a restaurant located in London, England. It was opened in 2012 by husband and wife, James Knappett and Sandia Chang.
