Smyrna is a town in Rutherford County, Tennessee. Smyrna's population was 53,070 at the 2020 census, making it the largest town in Tennessee by population in that census. In 2007, U.S. News & World Report listed Smyrna as one of the best places in the United States to retire. Smyrna is part of the Nashville metropolitan statistical area.
Motlow State Community College is a public community college with multiple locations in southern Middle Tennessee. The main campus opened its facilities in 1969 and is located in Moore County on 187 acres of land donated by the late Senator Reagor Motlow and family. Motlow College also has learning centers in Fayetteville, McMinnville and Smyrna, a teaching site in Sparta and a partnership in Shelbyville at the Middle Tennessee Education Center.

It is on Warrior Drive which intersects with South Church Street. Riverdale is one of the older high schools in Murfreesboro, along with Oakland High School which was also built in 1972. These schools were constructed to replace the outdated former Murfreesboro Central High School, which was then converted to a junior high school facility. It is home to 12 academic departments, 40 extracurricular clubs, and 19 TSSAA athletic teams.

Fort Knox Middle High School is a middle/high school in Hardin County, Kentucky, United States, serving grades 7–12 on the grounds of Fort Knox. The original building was constructed in 1958, with further additions in 1961, 1966, 1987 and 1989. In April 2009 a $18.1 million construction project funded by money from the Department of Defense Education Activity which runs the Fort Knox Community Schools system was begun to construct a new metal-roofed brick and masonry-facade two-story building, connecting to the existing vocational school and the gym. The new building replaced 71,510 square feet (6,643 m2) of the original 1958 facility. It includes 20 new classrooms, two computer labs, a commons, geothermal heating and air conditioning, recessed lockers for improved traffic flow, and specialized functional areas for art, band, science labs, and technology courses. It has a capacity of 462 students. Groundbreaking was April 2009, construction was completed in July, and the dedication ceremony was held on August 7. Most of the old high school building has been demolished.

Stewarts Creek High School is a public high school in the Rutherford County School system, located in Smyrna, Tennessee. The school opened in August 2013 with an estimate of 1500 students: 600 freshmen, around 300 sophomores and around 150 juniors and seniors. As of August 2021, SCHS currently has an enrollment of over 2,300. The school is located in southwest Smyrna, Tennessee. The students of the school come from surrounding Smyrna, LaVergne and Blackman high/middle schools as well as Rock Springs Middle School and Stewarts Creek Middle School. The current principal is Dr. Clark Harrell and the assistant principals include Dr. Brittany Anderson, Mr. Ryan Denton, Mrs. Nikki Hall, Mr. Todd Harris, and Mr. Casey Lawrence. Kevin Dyson from the Tennessee Titans served as an assistant principal and athletic director for the school's first two years. The school's rivals consist of LaVergne and nearby Smryna. The $46.3 million facility stands at an outstanding 356,000 sq. ft. sq. and is the second largest school in Middle Tennessee. The school holds one of the best fine arts programs in Middle Tennessee. This school is considered one of the best schools in Rutherford County.
Daniel Ray Spradlin is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and St. Louis Cardinals. He was selected by the Cowboys in the fifth round of the 1981 NFL draft. He played college football at the University of Tennessee.
Clarksville High School is a public high school located in Clarksville in Montgomery County, Tennessee. It is part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. The original building was built in 1906 but the school moved to the current building in 1968. Clarksville High School holds the CMCSS Business Academy which provides an open enrollment option for entering freshmen in Montgomery County. Its mascot is Wiley the Wildcat. The school colors are purple and gold, and the sports teams wear purple and gold with some black. Athletics are part of the TSSAA. The School meets expectations for the standardized tests and ACT's.

After a high school career that made her the nation's top-ranked point guard, she played college basketball for the UConn Huskies.
