Blaise Yepmou Mendouo (born 2 January 1985 in Douala) is a Cameroonian boxer. [1] He competed in the super heavyweight event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was eliminated in the round of 16 by Mohamed Arjaoui of Morocco. [2] After his defeat, he was one of seven Cameroonian athletes who disappeared from the Olympic Village. [3]

Fonua was selected as the flag bearer for the opening ceremony while Lui held it at the closing ceremony. Lui and Fonua failed to progress farther than the preliminary round of their respective events while Po'uhila finished 29th in the heat stage of the women's shot put contest.

The delegation included two track and field athletes, Jidou El Moctar and Aicha Fall, who were selected to the team by wildcard places, as the nation had no athletes that met either the "A" or "B" qualifying standards. Moctar was selected as flag bearer for the opening ceremony while a LOCOG Games Maker carried it for the closing ceremony. Neither of the two athletes progressed beyond the heats.

Dowabobo qualified as one of Oceania's highest ranked judo competitors while Detenamo made the Games based on his qualifying performance. Detenamo was the flag bearer for both the opening and closing ceremonies. Dowabobo was eliminated by his opponent Navruz Jurakobilov in the round of 64 and Detemano was 14th in his event.

Yhyacinthe Mewoli Abdon is a Cameroonian professional boxer. He competed in the lightweight event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was eliminated in the round of 32 by Fazliddin Gaibnazarov. After his defeat, he was one of seven Cameroonian athletes who disappeared from the Olympic Village. He told media he wanted to stay in the UK to further his career. He was granted asylum and settled in Stockton-on-Tees.
Serge Ambomo is a Cameroonian boxer. He competed in the light welterweight event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was eliminated in the round of 32 by Yakup Şener. After his defeat, he was one of seven Cameroonian athletes who disappeared from the Olympic Village. After appearing at a local boxing gym a week after his disappearance along with four other boxers, he applied for asylum in the UK. His first application failed, but he was later allowed to stay in the UK.
Christian Donfack Adjoufack is a Cameroonian boxer. He competed in the light heavyweight event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was eliminated in the round of 32 by Enrico Kölling. After his defeat, he was one of seven Cameroonian athletes who disappeared from the 2012 London Olympic Village.
