Blessed Stars Football Academy is a sports academy based in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. [1] [2] The academy was founded in 2002 and commissioned by the former Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Akpan Isemin. The academy was founded with the aim of scouting and developing sports athletes in Nigeria. [3] The academy is known for producing several U-17 players for the Nigeria national under-17 football team. [4] [5] [6] The academy was nominated for Best Grassroot Academy at the Nigerian Sports Award 2019. [7]
