Norman Jeffrey Healey was a Canadian blues, rock and jazz singer, guitarist, and songwriter who attained popularity in the 1980s and 1990s. He reached No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Angel Eyes" and reached the Top 10 in Canada with the songs "I Think I Love You Too Much" and "How Long Can a Man Be Strong".
Jason Ricci is an American harmonica player and singer. In addition to his solo albums, Ricci has appeared as a guest harmonica player on albums with Johnny Winter, Terence Blanchard, Nick Curran, Ana Popovic, Walter Trout, Cedric Burnside, The Mannish Boys and Joe Louis Walker among others. Ricci was named "Best Harmonica Player" at the 2010 Blues Music Awards, and also performed on Grammy winning 2014 Johnny Winter album Step Back. In February 2015, Ricci played at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Paul Shaffer Band, Tom Morello and Zac Brown to induct The Paul Butterfield Blues Band. Ricci also continues touring with his band Jason Ricci and the Bad Kind as well as with other bands such as: "Harmonicon", "JJ Appleton and Jason Ricci" and "Mark Hummel's Blues Blow Off". In 2017, Jason Ricci and The Bad Kind signed a record deal with the Eller Soul label and released their new album Approved By Snakes released on June 16, 2017.
"Into the Groove" is a song by American singer Madonna from the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan. It was featured on the re-issue of her second studio album, Like a Virgin (1984), outside North America. Sire Records released it as a single on July 15, 1985. Madonna's inspiration behind the song was the dance floor and she wrote it while watching a handsome Puerto Rican man, across her balcony. Initially written for her friend Mark Kamins, Madonna later decided to use it as the soundtrack of the film Desperately Seeking Susan.

Hush! is Ana Popović's debut solo studio album, released on January 22, 2001 on Ruf Records. While studying at Utrecht Conservatory of Music in the Netherlands, she formed the Ana Popović Band to pay tuition costs. The band became popular in the Dutch and German music scenes, which brought her a record deal with Ruf Records, and brought her to Memphis in 2000 to record Hush!, named after her first band in Serbia, Hush. One track on the album, "Bring Your Fine Self Home", features a duet with Bernard Allison, son of blues great Luther Allison.
Comfort to the Soul is Ana Popović's second studio album, released on October 7, 2003 on Ruf. The album was recorded in Memphis and produced by Jim Gaines. The album consists of five songs by Popović and six covers, showcasing not just the well-known blues artists, but lesser known performers, and even rock songs that work well in the blues environment. Popović introduced some jazz elements into Comfort to the Soul, and the album won a jazz award in France, 'Jazz a Juan-Revelation 2004'. She surrounded herself with seasoned musicians as a statement that she was a blues player to be reckoned with.
Still Making History is Ana Popović's third studio album, released on June 19, 2007 on Eclecto Groove Records, her debut album in the US and on her new label, produced by Grammy winning producer John Porter. The album explores the different ways we connect over the centuries. The album also looks at the various forms of love in its many forms, such as true love, new-found love, forbidden love. Global, cultural and personal history are all touched on. Still Making History made it onto Billboard's Blues Album charts on October 20, 2009, spent 13 weeks in the top 15, and peaked at number 4 on December 8 and 15.
Unconditional is Ana Popović's fifth studio album, released on August 16, 2011 on Eclecto Groove Records, her last on that label. The album features some guest slide guitar work with Sonny Landreth. Popović states in her liner notes that the title Unconditional is her mission statement and her state of being.
Can You Stand the Heat is Ana Popović's sixth studio album, released on March 27, 2013 on ArtisteXclusive records. The album has eleven original songs and three cover songs, and features guest appearances with Grammy Award winner Tommy Sims and Grammy nominee Lucky Peterson, and was produced by B.B. King's drummer of twenty-five years, Tony Coleman. She met Coleman when she was opening for B.B. King, and they wondered if groovy blues was fading from the scene, so they came up with the idea of making a blues album in the style of Albert Collins and Albert King, using funk and "old-school" soul. Popović relocated her family from Amsterdam to Memphis so that she could record at Ardent Studios and to embrace the music aura that circulates in the city's perennial juke joints. The title track, "Can You Stand the Heat", was released as single before the album was released, and a video was shot for the song, directed Jonathan Pekar.
Blue Room is Ana Popović's studio album that she made with her dad, released on May 15, 2015 on ArtisteXclusive records. The album was recorded by Ana and Milton for Ana and her children as a tribute to her father, dedicated to all the dad's that support their musician and guitar playing children. Ana had played the album songs for years with Milton. Although Milton was never a professional musician, he loved the music and played as a hobby. Ana had been trying for years to get Milton into the studio, but he held back for 10 years. Ana finally convinced him to record something, and when she got him there, it was like he had always been doing studio work. The title, The Blue Room came from the name given to a room in her family's 11th floor apartment in Belgrade where Milton and his friends played and discussed blues and rock albums and a young Ana eventually picked up a guitar and joined in.
Ana! Live in Amsterdam is Ana Popović's first concert video and live album, with the video released on May 31, 2005, and the album released on July 26, 2005. The album is not pure blues but showcases modern and cross-border blues with rock, soul, and jazz elements. "Sittin' on Top of the World" is a classic Chicago blues track, "Bigtown Playboy" showcases her slide guitar skills, "Won't Let You Down" gives off the funk and soul of Sade, and "Navojo Moon" is dedicated to the guitarists who influenced her style, such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ronnie Earl. Although Popović was born in Belgrade, Serbia, she had moved to Europe and had adopted Amsterdam as her new home, so this concert was presented in her new hometown.
Kara Grainger is an Australian soul blues and roots rock singer-songwriter, based out of Nashville, Tennessee, United States. She played with the Papa Lips band starting in 1994. In 1998, they were awarded the "Best New Band" award at the Australian Blues Music Awards. They changed their name to Grainger in 1998 and continued to play together until 2001. She signed as a solo artist with Craving Records in 2006.

He has contributed to dozens of albums over his career, including several of his own as a bandleader, and has appeared on many film and television soundtracks including ESPN and The Sopranos. His songs have been covered by many prominent rock and blues artists, including Joe Cocker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Robben Ford, and John Mayall.

The album is a concept album which explores ten different aspects of female empowerment. The album was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, and produced by Grammy winner Keb' Mo', and features guest appearances by Keb' Mo', Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Robben Ford.
An evening at Trasimeno Lake is Ana Popović's second concert video and live album, with the video released on September 1, 2010, and the album released on September 24, 2010. The album and video mark her first use of the label ArtisteXclusive records. The concert was Popović's second time playing at the Trasimeno Lake Blues Festival, an amphitheater stage with a back drop of a mediaval castle, Rocca Medievale. The video showcases her musical talents and also focuses on the rhythm section who accompanied Popović, plus has some scattered side vignettes of her walking around the castle before the show to add color. The video also includes an interview with Popović where she talks about balancing her career and her family. In addition to her regular backing band of bassist Ronald Jonker, keyboarder Michele Papadia, and drummer Andrew "Blaze" Thomas, Popović added additional percussion by Stéphane Avellaneda, some brass with Cristiano Arcelli on saxophone and Riccardo Giulietti on trumpet, and some backing vocals by Sandra LaVille.
