Tomoko Kawase is a Japanese singer, songwriter, producer, actress, and model from Kyoto. She is the lead singer of the alternative rock band The Brilliant Green. She also has a solo career under the alter-ego pseudonyms Tommy february6 and Tommy heavenly6.

Tommy february6 is the eponymous debut album of the brilliant green vocalist Tomoko Kawase's alter ego Tommy February6. The album, in addition to launching Kawase's solo career, also established Tommy February6's trademark sound, which is heavily influenced by 80's synthpop music.

Oricon Inc., established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan. It started as Original Confidence Inc., which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts. Oricon Inc. was originally set up as a subsidiary of Original Confidence and took over the latter’s Oricon record charts in April 2002.

Music video

The Bloomin'! video is largely based on Alice in Wonderland and features Tommy dressed in the signature blue dress following a white rabbit into the worm-hole. The video also features cheerleaders similar to those in the videos for the previous two singles: "Everyday at the Bus Stop" and "Kiss One More Time".

"Everyday at the Bus Stop" is Tomoko Kawase's first single under Tommy February6, name that is associated with her birthday, and the first single that was done independent of The Brilliant Green. Some editions come with a promotional DVD. The song peaked at #12 on Oricon charts and stayed on the charts for 12 weeks.

"Kiss One More Time" is a song by Tomoko Kawase, released as her second single under Tommy February6, on November 21, 2001. The song peaked at number 20 in Japan and stayed on the charts for 10 weeks.
