Heavy Starry Heavenly is the second album by the Brilliant Green vocalist Tomoko Kawase under her pseudonym Tommy heavenly6. [1]
"Heavy Starry Heavenly" is Tommy Heavenly6's second studio album,released two years after Tommy Heavenly6. (As stated on the cover) it is billed as "the "dramatic" new album" featuring "12 cute new songs". Following the release of "Tommy heavenly6",Kawase released a continuous string of singles starting with I'm Gonna Scream+ and finally ending a single-productive phase with Heavy Starry Chain. Each single in between "Tommy heavenly6" and "Heavy Starry Heavenly" was included on the album (as well as their B-side tracks).
The initial Limited Edition pressing includes a bonus promotional DVD,including music videos and "making of" videos.
All lyrics are written by Tomoko Kawase; all music is composed by Chiffon Brownie

After the release of the album, Kawase started on her "Tommy heavenly6 Heavy Starry Tour '07" in order to promote the album. The tour consisted of four live shows in four cities around Japan, taking place in March 2007. The shows took place in Fukuoka, Aichi, Osaka and finally ending in Tokyo. On certain legs of the tour, her bandmates from The Brilliant Green appeared as guest musicians. The songs played were from both "Heavy Starry Heavenly" and "Tommy heavenly6".
The Brilliant Green is a Japanese rock band from Kyoto formed in 1995. They were signed to Sony Music Records. Their major debut single under Sony, "Bye Bye Mr. Mug", was released in 1997. Their contract with Sony ended in 2008, and on December 1, 2009, the band announced that it had signed with Warner Music Japan.
Tomoko Kawase is a Japanese singer, songwriter, producer, actress, and model from Kyoto. She is the lead singer of the alternative rock band The Brilliant Green. She also has a solo career under the alter-ego pseudonyms Tommy february6 and Tommy heavenly6.
Tommy February6 is the debut album of the Brilliant Green vocalist Tomoko Kawase's alter ego Tommy February6. The album, in addition to launching Kawase's solo career, also established Tommy February6's trademark sound, which is heavily influenced by 80's synthpop music.

Two versions were offered, included a version with an alternative cover, stickers, and DVD. "Pray" was used as the first opening for the Gintama anime series. "Pray" peaked at #10 on the Oricon singles chart.
"I Love Xmas" is the 7th single released from Tomoko Kawase's alter-ego, Tommy heavenly6, and the 15th overall single from her solo career. It was released on December 6, 2006, and peaked at No. 29 on the Oricon singles chart. "I Love Xmas" appropriately enough has a Christmas theme surrounding the lyrics as well as the music video.
"Heavy Starry Chain" is the only single released from Tomoko Kawase's alter-ego, Tommy heavenly6 in 2007. It was followed up by her second album Heavy Starry Heavenly. This is Tommy heavenly6's 8th single, and Kawase's 16th overall. The single peaked at #20 on the Oricon singles chart. The limited edition version includes a DVD with the Heavy Starry Chain promotional video.
Shunsaku Okuda is the leader of the Japanese rock/pop band The Brilliant Green where he plays bass guitar and rhythm guitar and has composed the vast majority of the band's music. He also produces music under the pseudonyms Chiffon Brownie, Malibu Convertible, and Mark and John.
"Papermoon" is Tommy heavenly6's 9th single and Tomoko Kawase's 16th single overall, which was released on December 10, 2008. Since The Brilliant Green made their comeback, Kawase had been very inactive as a solo singer. Since "Papermoon" has been released, it marks her first solo single in over a year. "Papermoon" was featured as the second opening song to the anime Soul Eater. "Papermoon"'s B-side is a song called "Ruby Shoes", which is possibly in reference to the overall theme of the "Papermoon" music video. "Papermoon" peaked at #10 on the Oricon singles chart.
Gothic Melting Ice Cream's Darkness Nightmare is the first compilation album from Tomoko Kawase's alter ego, Tommy heavenly6. It was released on February 25, 2009 by DefSTAR Records. Its top position on the Oricon charts was number 6.
I Kill My Heart is the third studio album by Tommy heavenly6. It was released on April 29, 2009, and was Kawase's final album with DefSTAR Records. "I Kill My Heart" is a concept album in which Tommy heavenly6 uses a less energetic and darker sound than on previous albums, and each track was played by the same backing band.
Strawberry Cream Soda Pop Daydream is the first compilation album from Tommy february6, released on February 25, 2009, by DefSTAR Records coinciding with Tommy heavenly6's release of Gothic Melting Ice Cream's Darkness Nightmare. The album was a released as a double-disc CD and DVD. The CD features all singles released by Tommy february6, one new song, and a few additional tracks. The DVD features music videos for each single, as well as making of videos.
"Monochrome Rainbow" is a song by Japanese singer Tommy heavenly6, and first single for her fourth album. Monochrome Rainbow was released on October 26, 2011, and debuted at number 14 on the Oricon singles chart. "Monochrome Rainbow" was Tommy heavenly6's first official single since 2008 and first official single with Warner Music Japan.
