The Penn State–Pittsburgh football rivalry is a long-standing American college football rivalry between the Penn State Nittany Lions and Pittsburgh Panthers. The 1931 Bowling Green Falcons football team was an American football team that represented Bowling Green State College as a member of the Northwest Ohio League (NOL) during the 1931 college football season. In its eighth season under head coach Warren Steller, the team compiled a 3–1–4 record, shut out six of eight opponents, finished in third place out of four teams in the NOL, and outscored all opponents by a total of 31 to 21. Cliff Stevenson was the team captain.
Tyson Veidt is an American college football coach and former player. He is the defensive coordinator at the University of Cincinnati. Veidt served as the head football coach at Bluffton University in Bluffton, Ohio from 2008 to 2013, compiling a record of 19–31. He was an assistant coach at the University of Toledo from 2014 to 2014 and Iowa State University from 2016 to 2023 under Matt Campbell.
