Bola Odeleke (born 1950) is a Nigerian pastor, evangelist, preacher, founder and general overseer of Power Pentecostal Church. [1] [2]

Early life

Odeleke is from Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, southwestern Nigeria. [3] She had her primary and secondary education at Ilesa, her mother's hometown. [4] She became a Christian in 1970 but began her evangelism in November 1974, celebrating her 40th anniversary in the ministry in August 2014. [5] She became a bishop on 28 May 1995, and was the first African woman to become a bishop. [6]

Prince Bolasodun Adesumbo "Bola" Ajibola, SAN, KBE, CFR was a Nigerian jurist, who was the attorney general and the minister of justice of Nigeria from 1985 to 1991 and a judge of the International Court of Justice from 1991 to 1994. He was president of the Nigerian Bar Association from 1984 to 1985. He was also one of five commissioners on the Eritrea-Ethiopia Boundary Commission, organized through the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
