The Southern Cayuga Lake Intermunicipal Water Commission, commonly known as the Bolton Point Water System or just Bolton Point, is a public water system serving the suburbs and surroundings of Ithaca, New York.

It is one of three water systems in the Ithaca area, the others being run by the City of Ithaca and Cornell University.

The system was created after a drought in the mid-1960s prompted local officials to seek alternatives to the existing, creek-supplied water systems in the area. It opened in 1976. [1]

The Cayuga Nature Center (CNC) is an educational institution addressing nature and environmental issues. It is located on the west side of Cayuga Lake in Tompkins County, New York.

Six Mile Creek is a 20-mile-long (32 km) creek in Tompkins County, New York. It originates in the Town of Dryden near the intersection of Irish Settlement Road and Card Road, and drains into Cayuga Inlet which flows into Cayuga Lake. Its watershed is the principal source of drinking water for the City of Ithaca, New York and the surrounding communities.

Canoga is a hamlet in the Town of Fayette, Seneca County, New York, United States along Cayuga Lake. It is located 7 miles southeast of the hamlet of Seneca Falls, at an elevation of 449 feet. The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are N.Y. Route 89 and Canoga Road.
