Bombworks Records is a record label from McKinney, Texas, that formed in January 2004. [1] The label would sign several bands, including Seventh Angel, [2] A Hill to Die Upon, [3] Grave Declaration and Crimson Thorn. [4] The label started careers for bands such as Holy Blood. [5]

Deliverance is an American Christian thrash metal band which later shifted more towards heavy metal and progressive metal. Founded by Jimmy P. Brown II in 1985, many members have either stayed in the lineup for a number of years, or left and returned to the lineup. Jimmy P. Brown II has been the only constant member of Deliverance.

Seventh Angel

Seventh Angel are an English Christian metal band that formed in 1987 in Halesowen, West Midlands, England. The band was known for its combination of doom metal and thrash metal. The band initially released two albums, The Torment (1990) and Lament for the Weary (1992), before disbanding; these records achieved mainstream distribution through the Music for Nations label, making Seventh Angel label mates with such groups as Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth. The Daily Telegraph called Seventh Angel "one of the leading Christian thrash metal bands in Great Britain."

Deus Invictus

Deus Invictus is an extreme metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, started in 2005 by former drummer of The Chariot, Jeff Carter. The band's current line-up consists of Nicholas Shacklette ( Guitar/Vocals), Bradley Wood (Bass), and Jeff Carter (Drums/Vocals). The band signed to Bombworks Records, an indie metal label based out of Seattle, Washington, in 2007.

<i>Sol Invictus</i> (album) 2015 studio album by Faith No More

Sol Invictus is the seventh studio album by American rock band Faith No More, released on May 19, 2015. It was Faith No More's first studio album following 1997's Album of the Year, marking the longest gap between two studio albums in their career, and their first release on Reclamation Records. Sol Invictus was also the band's first album since 1992's Angel Dust to feature the same lineup as its predecessor.

A Hill to Die Upon

A Hill To Die Upon is an American blackened death metal band from the Monmouth-Galesburg area of Illinois, formed in 2004 by the brothers Adam and R. Michael Cook. The brothers initially founded the band as hardcore project, but eventually started listening to death and black metal, which led them to transform their band's sound. Over the years, various musicians have filled out the band's lineup, which currently consists of the Cook brothers and Nolan Osmond. Signed to Bombworks Records, A Hill to Die Upon has released four albums – Infinite Titanic Immortal in 2009, Omens in 2011, Holy Despair in 2014, and Via Artis, Via Mortis in 2017 - all to a positive critical reception. In 2013, the band also released a stand-alone single, "Manden med Leen". Musically, the band is compared primarily to Behemoth as well as Immortal, Naglfar, and Old Man's Child, all of which the brothers cite as among their major influences. The brothers are Christian, but they distance themselves from calling A Hill to Die Upon a Christian metal band. Lyrical themes include mythology, war, philosophy, and despair, with references drawn from the Bible and numerous literary works and authors.

Monotheist is a death metal band from Orlando, Florida. Former vocalist JJ Polachek is in the bands 7 Horns 7 Eyes and Ovid's Withering, of which, 7H7E, ranked their album on No. 1 on Metalsucks.com by Vince Neilsteins' Top 15 albums, and therefore stated that Monotheist is very similar to 7 Horns 7 Eyes. In 2016, the band released a demo, "Scion of Darkness" for their debut album that was to be released in the summer of 2016 via SkyBurnsBlack Records.

Bloodline Severed is a Christian metal band that originated in Charlotte and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The band started in 1998, and has toured with acts such as Battlecross, Aletheian, Phinehas and many more. The band is independent with their own label titled "Don't Need One Records".

Taking the Head of Goliath is a Christian death metal band that originated in 2015.

Vision of God Records is a Christian record label formed by Duane Keith. The label was formed in 2013 in Muskegon, Michigan. The label is primarily known for re-releasing albums with new artwork, mixing and mastering, but they do also have original releases. The label features bands such as Antidemon, Cerimonial Sacred and Demoniciduth. Although based in Michigan, the majority of the bands on the label are either from Brazil or the Ukraine. The label also has an imprint known as Christian Metal Underground Records. The label also distributes Lament Records’ material throughout the United States.

Antidemon is a Christian extreme metal band from São Paulo, Brazil. The band was founded in 1994 by Carlos Batista. The band has been compared to death metal acts such as Morbid Angel and Suffocation.

Symphony of Heaven

Symphony of Heaven is a Christian blackened death metal band from Owensville, Indiana, United States. The band began in 2017 as a solo project, but morphed into a full band by 2019, consisting of Logan Thompson (guitars/vocals), David Napier (bass), Eero Tertsunen (guitars), and Mason Beard (drums). The band has released two studio albums, two EPs, and a split release. According to HM Magazine, the band is "one of the best death metal acts to form in the past four years" as of 2021.

Timōrātus, also stylized as TIMŌRĀTUS, began in 2006, as a solo project of David Napier. The band was to begin as a metal band, but Napier, who had injured his hands, began the project with a more programmed electronic foundation. The band describes their style as "Multi-genre metal".

Temple of Perdition is a black metal project that began in September 2017, between Ya'akov Nahash, Joonas Heikkinen, and Benainah, out of Texas in the United States and Finland. Shortly after their formation, the band signed with Vision of God Records.

Light Unseen is an American death metal and grindcore band that originated in San Marcos, Texas, United States. The band was founded by local Texas death metal and grindcore veteran Christian "Shun" Marthiljohni of Diminished, Southern Front, and The Monk. Marthiljohni hired on his friend Adrian Trevino to take over drums. The band signed with Nosral Recordings in January 2018. Light Unseen has been compared to Tortured Conscience and Antidemon. Currently, the band is signed with Rottweiler Records.

My Place Was Taken is a deathcore and hardcore punk band that originated out of Matamoros, Mexico. The band originated in 2014 and signed to Rottweiler Records in 2017.
