The House That Shadows Built (1931) is a feature compilation film from Paramount Pictures, made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the studio's founding in 1912. The film was a promotional film for exhibitors and never had a regular theatrical release.
Show People is a 1928 American silent comedy film directed by King Vidor. The film was a starring vehicle for actress Marion Davies and actor William Haines and included notable cameo appearances by many of the film personalities of the day, including stars Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, William S. Hart and John Gilbert, and writer Elinor Glyn. Vidor also appears in a cameo as himself, as does Davies.
Robert G. Vignola was an Italian-American actor, screenwriter, and film director. A former stage actor, he appeared in many motion pictures produced by Kalem Company and later moved to directing, becoming one of the silent screen's most prolific directors. He directed a handful of films in the early years of talkies but his career essentially ended in the silent era.
"Annie Laurie" is an old Scottish song based on a poem said to have been written by William Douglas (1682?–1748) of Dumfriesshire, about his romance with Annie Laurie (1682–1764). The words were modified and the tune was added by Alicia Scott in 1834/5. The song is also known as "Maxwelton Braes".
Peggy Hyland was an English silent film actress who after a brief period on the stage had a successful career as a silent film actress, appearing in at least 40 films in Great Britain and the United States between 1914 and 1925. In 1925 she returned to Britain after making her last film following which she lived a life of obscurity.

Mr. Pim Passes By is a 1921 British silent comedy film directed by Albert Ward and starring Peggy Hyland, Campbell Gullan and Maudie Dunham. It was based on the 1919 play Mr. Pim Passes By by A.A. Milne.
William Ewart Fildew, billed as either William Fildew or William E. Fildew, was an American cinematographer during the silent film era. He shot 54 films between 1915 and 1927. His first film was 1915's The Lost House, directed by Christy Cabanne and starring Lillian Gish. That same year he also shot Martyrs of the Alamo, directed by Cabanne, which was the first film in which Douglas Fairbanks appeared. Fairbanks' first starring role, also in 1915, was The Lamb, which Fildew also shot. His final film was The Wreck, directed by William James Craft and starring Shirley Mason and Malcolm McGregor.
