Bonnie L. Ladwig (December 11,1939) is a Republican politician and legislator.
Born in Milwaukee,Wisconsin,Ladwig graduated from Shorewood High School. Ladwig served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1993 until 2005. [1]
In the fall of 2002,Ladwig and other legislative leaders were ensnared in a caucus scandal. She was charged with one misdemeanor count for using Capitol staff to work on Republican campaigns. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 30 days in jail,served at home using electronic monitoring. [2] [3]
She is married to her predecessor in the Assembly,Jim Ladwig. They have three children. Their son,Jim,also served as a member of the Racine County Board of Supervisors.

James Edward Doyle, Jr., is an American attorney and politician who served as the 44th governor of Wisconsin, serving from January 6, 2003 to January 3, 2011. In his first election to the governorship, he defeated incumbent Governor Scott McCallum by a margin of 45 percent to 41 percent; the Libertarian Party candidate Ed Thompson won 10 percent of the vote. Although in 2002 Democrats increased their number of governorships, Doyle was the only one of them to unseat a Republican. Doyle also served as Wisconsin’s Attorney General for 12 years before becoming Governor. He is currently an attorney 'of counsel' in the Madison, Wisconsin office of the law firm of Foley & Lardner and serves on the corporate board of Epic Systems.
Gwendolynne Sophia Moore is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Wisconsin's 4th congressional district since 2005. In 2016, Moore was elected to serve as caucus whip of the Congressional Black Caucus for the 115th United States Congress. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Her district is based in Milwaukee and as a result of the 2011 redistricting also includes some Milwaukee County suburbs: Bayside, Brown Deer, Cudahy, Fox Point, Glendale, St. Francis, South Milwaukee, West Milwaukee, Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. Moore is the first woman to represent the district and the second woman after Tammy Baldwin and the first African American elected to Congress from Wisconsin.
Peggy Ann Lautenschlager was an American attorney and politician who was the first chair of the Wisconsin Ethics Commission. She was Attorney General of the State of Wisconsin from January 3, 2003 to January 3, 2007. She succeeded fellow Democrat Jim Doyle when Doyle was elected Governor of Wisconsin in 2002. Lautenschlager was the first woman elected Wisconsin Attorney General.
Bonnie M. Watson Coleman is an American politician. She has served as the U.S. representative for New Jersey's 12th congressional district since 2015. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Watson Coleman served in the New Jersey General Assembly, from 1998 to 2015 for the 15th legislative district. She is the first African-American woman to represent New Jersey in Congress.

Scott Lawrence Fitzgerald is an American politician and former newspaper publisher. A Republican, he represents Wisconsin's 5th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. The district includes many of Milwaukee's northern and western suburbs, such as Waukesha, West Bend, Brookfield, and Mequon. He represented the 13th district in the Wisconsin State Senate from 1995 to 2021. After the 2018 elections, in which Democrats were elected governor, attorney general and secretary of state in Wisconsin, Fitzgerald pushed for legislation to remove powers from the incoming Democratic administration.
Carol A. Roessler is an American politician and public administrator. She served as a Republican in the Wisconsin State Senate (1987–2008) and State Assembly (1983–1987). She left the State Senate in 2008 to join the administration of Democratic Governor Jim Doyle as Administrator of State and Local Finance in the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. Until 1997, she was known as Carol A. Buettner.

The 2011 Wisconsin protests were a series of demonstrations in the state of Wisconsin in the United States beginning in February involving as many as 100,000 protesters opposing the 2011 Wisconsin Act 10, also called the "Wisconsin Budget Repair bill." The protests centered on the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison, with satellite protests also occurring at other municipalities throughout the state. Demonstrations took place at various college campuses, including the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. After the collective bargaining bill was upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court on June 14, the number of protesters declined to about 1,000 within a couple days.

Jeremy Ryan, referred to by conservatives media as “Segway Boy”, is an American protester. In 2011, he was called "the face of the Wisconsin Capitol Protests" which included the Capitol Occupation, the movement that some claim inspired the Occupy movement. The protests were against Scott Walker's Act 10. Ryan became notable during his frequent protests at the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison. He often used a segway vehicle to get around the capitol, earning him the name, “Segway Jeremy”. Ryan is the founding director of Defending Wisconsin Political Action Committee, that took part in the attempt to recall Governor Scott Walker in 2011–2012. Ryan is most known for his continuous protests against Wisconsin Department of Administration's rules prohibiting the use of signs in the rotunda. The rules were later revoked. He supports marijuana legalization.
J. Chris Newton is an American politician who served as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives. A Republican, he represented the 22nd district, which includes Meigs, Polk, and parts of Bradley counties. He resigned in 2005 after being charged in Operation Tennessee Waltz.
