Bonus Family (Swedish : Bonusfamiljen) is a Swedish drama series created by Felix Herngren, Moa Herngren, Clara Herngren, and Calle Marthin for SVT. The series debuted in 2017, with a second season in 2018. [1] A third season of the series launched on both SVT and Netflix in 2019. The series won a Kristallen award in 2017 for "Best TV-drama". [2] SVT announced that it has ordered a fourth season. Season 4 began streaming on Netflix on 14 December. [3] On December 15, 2021, it was reported that shooting had begun on a Bonus Family film, Länge leve Bonusfamiljen, to be released in December 2022. [4]

Synopsis

Lisa (Vera Vitali) and Patrik (Erik Johansson), a couple in their 30s living in Stockholm, are each recently divorced; both have 10-year-old sons, and Lisa has a teenage daughter. Patrik's ex-wife Katja (Petra Mede) is an architect, and Lisa's ex-husband Martin (Fredrik Hallgren) works at a bed retailer. The series follows the turbulent relationships between the new couple and their exes, as well as the three kids' adjustments to their new family situation and how Patrik deals with the contrast between his quiet, diligent son William (Jacob Lundquist) and Lisa's troublesome, adventurous son Eddie (Frank Dorsin).

Release

Streaming service Netflix purchased rights to broadcast Bonus Family from production company FLX in April 2017. [5] As of July, 2019, seasons 1-3 are available in most countries on Netflix. [6] [7] A notable exception is in the Nordic countries, where only series 1 is currently offered on paid platform. [8]

Fröken Frimans krig is a Swedish drama television series that first aired on SVT in December 2013 for three episodes during the Christmas and New Years weekend. Sissela Kyle plays women's rights advocate Dagmar Friman, a fictitious version of Anna Whitlock, who in 1905 founded the consumer cooperative Svenska hem. The series is written by Pernilla Oljelund, and is based partly on the book Svenska Hem – en passionerad affär (2005) by Monika Björk and Eva Kaijser. Linnéa Johansson is a Swedish ice hockey left winger and member of the Swedish national team, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Luleå HF/MSSK. She represented Sweden at the 2022 Winter Olympics and the 2022 IIHF Women's World Championship.

Morden i Sandhamn is a Swedish television crime drama series. It is based on the book series of the same name by writer, Viveca Sten, with later seasons set in Sten's fictional universe. The series is broadcast on TV4, which has presented nine seasons from 20 December 2010. The series follows Nora Linde, a lawyer who owns a summer house on Sandhamn, and her assistance in solving various murders on or near that island. Portraying Nora's children, Simon and Anna, are real-life siblings, Lion Monn and Ping Monn, respectively. The first six seasons featured Thomas Andreasson of the Nacka police as the lead detective. Primarily set in Saltsjöbaden, Nacka, the film follows the same general cast as the Solsidan TV-series: Alexander and Anna Löfström, who has recently divorced, their friends Ove and Annette Sundberg, who searches for a sperm donor after finding out that Ove is sterile, and the Schiller family, consisting of Fredrik "Fredde", Mikaela "Mickan", their son Victor, and their daughter Ebba, who travels to Torekov, Skåne, to visit Fredde's estranged father, Mauritz.

The Bjorck Family is a 1940 Swedish comedy film directed by Anders Henrikson and starring Olof Winnerstrand, Frida Winnerstrand and Birgitta Arman. It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Arthur Spjuth. It was based on a radio show of the same name that ran from 1936 to 1943.
