Kirkenes, Girkonjárga (Northern Sami; pronounced[ˈkir̥ː.ko.ˌɲaːrːka], or Kirkkoniemi  is a town in Sør-Varanger Municipality in Finnmark county, in the far northeastern part of Norway.
