The Borel Bo.11 was a French two-seat general purpose monoplane designed and built by Etablissements Borel. [1]

Design and development

The Bo.11 was mid-wing monoplane from 1911 with wire-braced wings and lateral control by wing warping. [1] It was powered by a 52 kW (70 hp) Gnome rotary piston engine. [1] The Bo.11 served with the Aéronautique Militaire at military air training schools and at a civil flying school at Buc. [1] The aircraft could be fitted with twin floats.

Bernard 20 Type of aircraft

The Bernard 20 was a 1920s French single-seat monoplane fighter aircraft designed and built by the Société des Avions Bernard. Originally displayed as a mock-up at the 1928 Paris Air Show it was a low-wing monoplane based on the Bernard V2 racer. The prototype powered by a 400 hp (298 kW) Hispano-Suiza 12Jb inline piston engine first flew in July 1929 from Orly. With its racing inheritance, in 1930 the aircraft flew at a speed of 280 km/h (174 mph). With the lack of interest by the French authorities for monoplanes the project was abandoned after 18 months of test flying.

The Bréguet 790 Nautilus was a prototype French three-seat coastal patrol flying-boat designed and built by Bréguet Aviation to meet a requirement from the French navy.

The Latécoère 582 was a 1930s French long-range patrol flying-boat designed and built by Latécoère for the French Navy. First flown on 25 July 1935 the 583 was a parasol-wing monoplane flying-boat. Powered by three 890 hp (663 kW) Gnome-Rhône 14Kirs radial piston engines. The French Navy choose to buy the Breguet Bizerte and the one Latécoère 582 ended up as a flying test bed at Saint-Raphaël.
